hello orgorg lama!!!

 

i noticed something amiss with my gileys fuel meter..

even though i top up full, meter doesnt show "full". haha..

when i brought out the bike i tested the mileage arnd 200 - 240km.

 

last 2 days, my fuel meter showed arnd half to none in mere 5 mins of riding. haha.. i thought fuel low so i top up. but i only filled 3-4 litres!!! haha

 

is there something wrong with my bike? OR is gilera's fuel meter like this?

please help!

Went to the mechanic they say the front fork is loose need to change the whole thing

$750!

 

Shd i jus sell the bike or fix it?

I am afraid that it is jus that the bike is old? cos i brought it 2nd hand.

Than i might have to visit the mechainic often.

 

Any views or comments?

i think you shud go to taihin or any reputable shops ask to quote.. 750 for new forks seems way exx...

 

or is this the normal range?

i think u cn get 2nd hand at scrap yard.. abt 300...e hole think.. or sunrise abt 250.... u cn try..

haha anyways, for gilera 07, fuel meter abit crazy eh? my bike still has half tank fuel, but it shows none(no bar)

u can still find at the scrpyard or there is always another alternative...

get it repair or press the fork back....

 

$750 for a new fork is quite reasonable...

some other shop might be selling it about $800-$1000 plus...

or u might wanna get 2nd hand fork, then get it repaired.. change the fork oil, seal, bearing etc....

 

so, gd luck...

ohh... that time i was with some other gilera riders also...

on that day, we went for some melalak session then chill at adam's corner.... i think ur fuel meter gauge is faulty...
