Hey give that guy a break man. He was just excited about getting his bike on a promised date. But when failed to do so, he got a bit frustrated. Its normal la. Anyways MAH was really good to me in terms of sale of the bike plus after service too. Maybe it was just not RTinc's day haha other then that, I still find MAH cheaper then outside bike shops!

Yup bro, Its really not my day! lol. But m enjoyin my 200i evo nevertheless.

Still waiting for my topbox, den it will b complete!

Hi 2 all forum bros, after much tots regarding the comment i made about MAH and their salesmen and the replys by bros here.

I think i should be fair to MAH & the salesmens, I'm sorry if im too harsh on my words as Im seriously very sian of waiting & waiting and i belif it's a one-off matter that happen to only me.

Afterall I still gt very good service frm the malay jr sales, he replied to my sms regardless of timing and he gave me a good deal of discount for d delayed.

For the interest of MAH & me as a customer, I'm only sharing my one off experience I had with them so it wont determine on their overall company profile as they are in the Bike market 4 so long and there are many happy customers in which many as a nature of human, wont comment on their good service in the forum.

Thus i should not b the one that burn the forest for just one tree, I nv knew the effect of forum power to be so great. Im just wanna share with the like minded bros here and learn at the same time. Didnt have the mind to cause harm to any1, so hereby wish MAH and the salesmen esp the malay salesman the best.

What is the current FC? I was rather surprise over the weekend when testing non-stop highway ride to Changi point for Airshow, my dear evo go all the way up to almost 50km/L at 80km/H, almost double of city riding FC.

Try to monitor FC, once it is stablised, running in can be considered completed and free to enjoy wild action with her.

Also be careful on screws, SYM is well known for lose/drop screws, try to tighten them whenever possible or very soon your GF will have 'united nations' screws on her.

Hi Bro, Thanks for the feedback.

Anyway im just sharing my own experience with the forum guys, ok i should not boycott MAH but i just

get too much mistake from them regarding my bike. i truthy understand every1 make mistake and no company want their customer to be upset, but if your in my shoe where there so many wrongs will u b angry?

Cheers!

yeah. i know where your coming from and would understand if it were to be delayed and u will feel sian because i myself in your shoes ponder and will eventually think,HEY WT*? so when i got my bike @ Mah, my hopes were not to get the bike within a few days because i have witness my friends(especially the Superbike fellas) waiting at least a week before they take out their fresh new ride. One of them super best, bike delivered to his house in a tow truck and still in a crate box as requested by his Wifey. (they waited 2 weeks)

I guess i was lucky because my bike was sitting there waiting to be bought so i reckon it has already undergone the Homogation period and only needs the paperwork of COE and insurance to be done(this is just my assumption). but usually bro, if u get any new bike, always be prepared to wait for at least a week. So keep your hopes at an adequate level. My friend bought a gilera runner from AS Phoon patiently waited for 1 week and its delivered. furthermore he is a p-plate and just pass his 2b license and u can only imagine his anxiety within that week. haha! maybe some miscommunication tend to happen along the way with the Shop salesperson.and being shouted at is definitely not a nice feeling and i would understand your pain. just sharing my views bro. cheers.

Hey bro, thanks 4 sharing.

Anyway after all this happening, hopefully after the above commends that i had put the interest of Mah & me. Everything will b alright, so guys let enjoy our ride!

Let the spirit of forum of sharing carry on! & all bro do share on all d positive things too.

I dunno how to estimate your FC? o_O

If you have travelled around 300km and 3x top-up, assuming 6L each time so 18L added. 303/18=16.8km/L? can't be that bad lar!

Try monitor your FC after next servicing, new Evo after first 1000km should be easily getting 25km/L, some guys hit up to 36km/L based on 50/50 (HW/city) pattern, so your FC should gradually improve and stablise.

If not better figure out what's wrong and claim warranty before expiry, the FI module is expensive and re-mapping can be very troublesome if the FI module is not working properly.

Wash and wax is good for our lady, anyway she have very limited area to be waxed so not that bad like waxing car. :cheeky: when she travelled in raining day, more washing is good to keep her look great (you too bro).

I will run another test as the 50km/L FC on highway non-stop still a bit unbelievable, though some very minor enhancement are added on her, I am more interested to have better city riding FC as there is the killer, highway FC is always good as long as don't over 6500 RPM on her, temp rise very fast after 6300 RPM I observed, even with electronic temp control, the engine still very hot, once temp co-efficiency is over the optimal, FC start to get very poor and horsepower drops also.

Hello Bro.. I am not sure about your bikes but for me. my 300i Evo drinks about 12Liters.

and can last me about average 380km before she runs dry.. thats like 30-32Km/liters average. I ride mostly from Hougang to Pandan Loop Via KPE, ECP and AYE.... and i am not sure why but now a days.. My engine gets super smooth. some times i cant even feel my engine running. I am not sure if this is normal or what but i really like it compared to my monsterously powerful Super4 :)

Yup my 1st 300km is about 80% cityriding & 20% highway, so 25km/l is good le.

Bro, don't like that lar, Evo 200i only 7.6L compared to 300i 12L.

From your route, it looks more on highway, so roughly 32km/L, you may like to try city road FC and see what best your lady can gives, my estimation will be around 25km/L.

Your engine gets smoother telling you that the break-in is almost done, the simplest way to tell is FC, once it gets very stable from the poor initial to better and best and stay, it is trying to tell you she is ready for more action, but good to sayang a bit till 1000km and beyond, after that you can do almost anything you like on her.

Scooter is nicer than bike as the belt absorbed most of the vibration and the CVT design let the rider feel much less stressful on long ride, the only setback is the frequency to change belt, although Taiwanese change at 15,000km, the manual insists 12,000km replacement which is safer due to our hot weather and too many stop and go.

If you like to screw her up badly, you may even need to change at 8,000km to play safe, I heard from riders that when the belt breaks, if your luck is bad that the belt stuck in the final drive side, it is almost confirm rear lockup and lost control.
