Have been trying that last night for about half an hour. Still unable to kick start the bike. Is there any special thing that I need to do? I presume turn on the ignition key, make sure that engine cut-off key is turn off, turn on throttle a little and kickstart.

Try to turn abit throttle before you kick start it again, btw where you stay?

Thanks for the advice bro! :btw: can you explain how is 120km/h riding linked to exhaust pipe problem please? Thanks man...am a noob still..keke..

Do u know where can I buy Michelin Gold tyres at e cheapest price u know?

The more faster you go, the more vibration will cause and it will cause the exhaust problem to come.

Staying at Queenstown area. Anyway, I got my bike towed to the workshop and they replace the battery. It went completely flat.

li67, where did you get your LEDs changed? Only half of the number of LEDs are bright and the other half of the group are dim now. It'll be cool to change to blue LEDs. Can change to red and still be legal? :p sorry ah..noob question..

Bike bought 2nd hand only 1 LED bright :dot: (DIY)open headlamp replace blue after 2 week ... 1 become dim , add 120 ohm led sure last long.

Not legal added on/off swicth.

Wah quite terrible huh...only had one LED working. Where did you buy and your blue LED's? How much were they? Oh and why would a 120 ohm LED last longer? Do you know if we can add other colours? :)

Hi, I bought a 2nd hand GTS 200 today, in good condition. After riding motard for less than 8 mths, I really find scooter more suitable for me. So I'm back to SYM GTS family!

just sent my bike in to Heng Motor for servicing yesterday for my fallen right mirror, damaged armour plate for my exhaust pipe and also for the jerkiness.

the mechanic quoted me $95 for all repairs leh..also asked if I want to change belting or not cuz since everything is dismantled, it's more convenient but it would cost me $180++. haiz..so ex..in the end I cancelled the change of belting cuz I dun see the need to change it. He said belting is $90++. Is that true?

for the mirro, should hv gone to future scootering cuz they told me they can do for me for free if it's not hard and it turned out to be pretty easy to fix it back! :dozed:

anyway, collecting my bike later today. :)

ooh just got my right mirror fixed up and the armour plate reshaped and polished to shine! :bounce: I also got my 6 rollers changed. Thanks to Heng Motor! ;)

But strangely, the moment I started my bike's engine, the sound seems much more choppy than before.

Question: Is your GTS-200's engine choppy too? It was never choppy before the servicing.:help:

hi guys! thanks for the advices so far! I really find them comforting and most importantly, useful! :)

.. :p

and thanks "justborn"! so i heard from my fren about sanding and spray-painting. but I duno where can it be done ley...maybe I should do it at a later stage cuz still worried that I may buang...

anyone knows the prices for wheels with good grip? just wanna know if I can afford to change to those for my own safety.

oh by the way, I kena power cut the other day on the expressway when I sped all the way to 130kph! lolx! Immediately let it drift itself and I steered to the road shoulder and flicked the opened circuit switch to close and I could start the bike again. lol..

also experienced the "vibration-when-above-90kmph" phenomenon. lolx..

also, can I ask if you guys if your bike actually feels a llittle shaky when riding over the arrows and markings on the roads? mine does leh...and the wind pressure also makes my bike pretty shaky when riding at 120..is it normal?

this is waht i mean.. kind of dangerous right then kenny when u went thailand then how??? everytime power cut huh??

Hi, personally i would not advise you to ride too fast with your baby. This is a taiwan bike and the design is for smooth riding, average about 90km/h will be best. If you always ride at 120km/h, u may face exhaust pipe problem sooner or later.

As for tyres, you can try Michelin Gold standard, so far not much complaint

kenny can u explain this further wat u mean by the exhaust drop??

and how to solve this problem\???

how much is the michelin gold tyres front and back??

is the stock tyre reliable?

can this power cut be taken out?? since like u guys know how to off it then can start again??

the exshaust problem if changed pipe ti the after market ones will still have this problem?/

actually we mean that this bike is not suitable to travel 120km/h all the way, it will stress the bike alot. Vibration may cost exhaust pipe giving you problem
