Heya'l!!! Just been to Loois Motor and they have brought in the new Burgman 650 Executive for $24k otr without insurance. Quite tempted by it. Currently riding Majesty 400 and looking for an upgrade ride after I get my class 2. Haha.

The maxi scooter is really huge, but surprisingly, it doesn't feel too heavy to tip over from side stand. And the handle bar width is not that much wider than my Majesty's. The wing mirrors can be folded electrically too should the gap between cars is too narrow for the mirrors to squeeze through. Haha.

Maxi scooter fan reporting.

Which colours have they brought in? I'm riding the matt grey. The weight is only felt when using the main stand and pushing it around. Ride is very comfortable and smooth.

Loois brought in the Matt grey version too (though it looks a bit bluish to me). Well, the Silverwing 400 feels a ton when I tried to tip it from the side stand, so the Burgman 650 is indeed surprising that it was rather easy (not much more effort required compared to my Majesty 400) to tip from its side stand!

Based on the dashboard readout, if riding with lots of stops at traffic lights around 17km/l.. if just expressway around 90km/h, i could get around 23km/l..

Well, am just wondering how low it'd go. For 650cc, the typical range I guess around 17-21km/L bah. Haha. I believe the 'Power' mode gives much faster acceleration no? But also drink more petrol luh. Expected. Haha!

Congrats on your ride! It's rare!

Hi drift,

So far its good :) only a few hiccups at the beginning, im still loving the big compartment.

I have the rack and also the back rest, it made the bike much longer and sometimes hard to park because of its length but no big issue to mi though :) will post a pic of the rack later when i off work :) .

Saw a burgy 650 over the weekend at GH had a nice chat :) have a gathering of burgy 400 and 650 soon man !!!

Hi any one ridding burgman 400cc can do a summary of this bike ?? thks

My ride now is an old 04 an400 cc burgman, previously i ride a xr4 for 8yrs without big compartment and speedo meter or fuel etc......so now this burg gave mi the missing indication on my previous bike and i am glad i choose it wahahaha anyway i try to write my review as clear as possible coz i not expert in maxis scoot also and i got this burg beginning of this year only, still learning from the bros from here. Hope my review will not spark anything. Soooo here goes.....

Good things

-big compartment(underseat can put two helmet and a set of raincoat)

-smooth riding

-relax riding posture

-fc is low( if compare to my xr4)

-easy to maintain

Bad point

-limited advise from forum as not many 400 burg are active here. You can try burgmanusa

-bike quite wobbling with pillion(i dunnoe mayb its just mi,mayb the bros here can share)

-u turn must b slow

- as my burg had box and pillion back rest , the burg became very long and hard to park at certain small carparks.

For me i still love the burg , as the most important for me is the bike have big compartment lol, the rest is not an issue to me. So you have to know what you want though. I will try to be active in this forum as i found @drift another burg 400 wahahahha so atleast can discuss things.

Anyway the above feedback is only from me so ....yah,the rest of the bro who are more xp can share if not you have to read back the previous post by some of the ex burg. Hope this atleast helps u alittle.
