Yap agreed thats why i actually stop with the sticker already.

btw bro, you know what time the guan how workshop at Ubi open n close?

N possibly their phone no too? I have GH spare parts store no but no workshop no.

I suspect the burg has a little oil seeping out of my water pump n it could be the oil seal or mechanical seal out.

Wonder how much they charge to fix it n how much they charge for the parts.

If too expensive, i'll go rebuild the waterpump myself. Will be slow but if can save a few hundreds heh why not.

I have these screws/rivet on my burgman... any idea how to open them? Can't find any instructions in the manual.

Insert a flat tip in the slot n ply out, then remove.

Thinking of changing to lithium battery next.. :)

As my daily commute to work and back is only around 15km, i'm worried that the stock batteries won't last long due to insufficient charging. Now reading on voltmeter when i turn the key is only around 11.7V..

In my previous cb400, the stock yuasa batt only last for about a year... after changing to lithium it lasts much longer and the voltage never drop below 12V..

Thinking of getting this.. anyone used these before?

Kinda expensive isn't it but I heard its worth the money lah.

its not normal lithium its a lithium iron or LiFepo4 n I heard the voltage

would not drop unless its flat. Do u know how much it costs for the burgman?

Btw the stock yuasa is how much?

Ouch! 300 bux.... hmmmm i hope it lasts for min 3 years or more, that would mean its an investment that would save you money.

But from overseas forums, i read has many good reviews.

I was thinking of aftermarket parts too but have to do a study of the OEM vs the aftermarket first.

For example how about the KnN or BMC air filters for burgman, have your put it on or any of u guys tried it. Any difference?

Need to remap ECU or rejet? I know stock airfilter just cost 20bux n the aftermarket ranges from 100bux and above.

ANy inputs?

BTW i've forgotten to ask 11.7V is cranking voltage? Means when u crank the starter it drops to 11.7V or after the engine is running it only registers 11.7V instead of anything more than 12V? If this is what happens, can u tell me what is the cranking voltage?

Cos if cranking it drops to 11.7V n then recovers to anything above 12V when the engine is started i think its still ok but if without engine started its 11.7V n with engine started its also still registers 11.7V then u might have more bigger problems n this problem might not just be the battery only.

My lithium batt from the MO section 21mths on, still able to achieve 14.4v full charge. Will be going to him tomorrow to help migrate batt over to the 650.

As for me, i will try to stick to stock parts as much as possible.. :) I have this thinking.. the more i change, the more problems i will have later..:cheeky:

Other than the battery.. i might just change the rider backrest if i can find 1 that i like..

11.7V is before cranking.. after the bike starts its around 14V.. should be normal... just worried with my usage (10mins to work & 10mins back), there is not enough time to charge the battery..

Did you get it from cypher(if i'm not wrong)? I was using the same ones on my cb400.. it was better than the stock as it charges quickly and discharges slowly.. perfect for my usage pattern.. but i think i was only using 6.8AH types whereas the stock was 8Ah..

For the shorai, it is 21Ah.. higher than 650 stock 14Ah... I think it would be wiser to go higher since the 650 have heater, electronic screen n mirrors, light under the seat etc

Anyway.. r u riding the new 650 also?
