heard from frens to drag more in gear 2 and 3 b4 go into gear 4, then can get higher speed.

 

But dun think need to go that fast on a cub ba!

when i ride about 100km/h on the expressway, i feel my bike like so light as if it can fly anything. haha common is it? btw, anyone here fix extra horn onto your X1-R?

feel light wanna fly is one thing, think common ba. Feel like shaking out of control is another thing!

 

change louder horn ba - stock horn like cat mewing. "Emergency! press horn - miao!"

 

some change air horn but i feel loud horn can ald, no need air horn. loud horns should not cost more than $25, air horn think in the range of $50.

well, no one ride wave here so u asking a question no one noes though. u should try ask in wave forum bout it. haha!

its not really true, juz tat it reaches top speed faster than normal. the top end will still be the same de. haha

Yea what time? I went there twice. I fetch my friend back to her house. Then after i finish watching soccer i send my friend back to home, near Bedok 85 also.

 

First - around 12am or 1am?

 

Second - 5am +

Yup, Hella, dez another one stebel, any shop also can ba, but should not cost more than $25 including installation.

 

Diff is air horn is very loud. loud horns is loud only.

Actually i'm kinda against air horn coz if ppl "eat" u den u air horn, so what? they will only eat more fierce, if they guai l@n.

 

It's like taichi - they gheh gheh lai, u still gheh gheh horn and just insist on ur "right-of-way"..

 

Bottomline, horns will only work for those "really not purposely wanna eat u" type drivers - for this type of drivers no need air horn, loud horn they will also go back.

 

If they gheh gheh lai type, u siam, not horn louder.

Like in those super big turns in expressway, sometimes wanna turn left, eh, y the fork auto right?!

 

go fast @ 90 more stable. But more than that the shaking very hiong, can see my hands going left right left right minutelly (like handlebar trembling) - Not so hiong like fishtail ba.

bro if ur bike has a box, it increases the weight behind, if u remove the box and on a straight road it is quite stable.

it could also either be ur streering cone or rear shock gave way le...better get it checked mate...

i've got 2 solution for u...

1st alternative is cheap....

2nd is expensive...

 

 

1st is go JB fix which is cheap and fast..

 

2nd is fix in sg, which is expensive and slow / sometime might be fast...

best is to go in the morning....

 

 

if it is me.... i choose even when i got no $$$

jackohjack.... rest assured ur bike repairs dont cost u a bomb.... its just ur bearing... spark and x1-r have the same issue... bearing worn off very fast.... 65rm at jb.... so up to u where u wnt to do.... fork bent?? if u hit sumting then fork sure bend.....

changing gears are good but it doesnt really feel smooth when going off.

any of u experience your bike chain getting rusty after a snow wash at petrol kiosk? half my chain has already rusted.. see liao damn sian.. if bring to work shop change the chain, highly likely my bike will be dirty again.. zzz

when those washing chemical agents come into contact with the chain, it causes it to rust. for u to clean the chain urself also requires a certain technique to prevent it from rusting.

 

i had to learn it the hard way in the past where my AFAM sprocket set had to go due to bike wash...which is why i stick to washing my own bike...

 

it is also important to lube ur chain regularly....say 1-2 times a week, especially if it rains...
