I see my "yamaha" racing footrest like abit sengnet. it's either i too paranoid. Footrest is about 1 month old. Not possible to be sengnet right?

try going to shop ask them to lathe for u spacer out of motivational slider material.... reduce vibration but not totallly

 

 

 

try this tyre for size..... IRC EAGLE WINGS.... im not kidding or playing around compound is the same as battlax if not better then battlax.... used and abuse this set of tyres.... cheap and good.... u seen me ride b4 ken so i hope u trust me hehehehe.... 30 for a tyre.... try to believe

any way actually IRC is a gd tyre....

jus tat the tyre they give the stock bike is like sh1t....

they jus keep giving their company a bad name....

u see if the tyre really tat bad....

den it wont survive till now...

stock can go till 150. i tried be4 alot of times. but when braking take super long distance. for dry n wet best go for battlax 80/90 front n 90/80 rear.

 

but since u wan speed, battlax is not recommended coz its sticky n more towards safety precaution. u wan speed then go for stock tyres is enff. but safety wise, hope u wont end up in hospital thru the speeding. go so fast n get the risk of TP caught u or hospital caught u. wad for? worth it? my 2cent. ride at ur own risk if u wan speed. i still prefer to ride safe.

anyway, if u wan to go fast get those 2stroke bike, easily go till 170. u'll love it if u wan speed.

ANd ya, battlax more for safety!

 

$180. done @ Unique. 90/80 front and rear. GOOD! better than battalax. yea, from Japan not from Thailand.

 

why not made in Thailand? thailand tires aint that bad.

still able to play corner and scrap pipe then. just, its knowing your surroundings and boundaries that makes you realise where and when you can play.

 

Hahaz, once bitten twice shy. maybe there are good "made in thailand" tires, but that black sheep is enuff to make me shun all, forever. if i no $ to change japan i rather take public transport.

Any1 knows where good 4 full service.. bike reaching 1 year.. 15000++plus km... n notice my bike shake like hell when going 100km/h.. didn't hav this problem at all last time.. any bros or sis here install knn air filter? heard a lot of good things abt it... newways thanx 4 for e reply from sum Question i ask here.. am veri busy wif werk tat's y not here often..... thanx n tc.peace!

i gone up to kulai with my X1-R b4.....

even with sport rim and battlax....

with the long long stretch i still can reach 140+

but hor.... it take like 1-2min time from 130 onward....

did u down ur fork? coz if u down fork be4 and u fix fork brace will not be a gd choice. u doesnt need to remove mudguard to fix. u can juz fix it in above the mudguard.

yessir.. (when its being tighten up. i had to loose it abit so it can move up and down) and you know whats the best thing.. the front screw where the part you kick up and down lever drop off.. and its only the 3rd day i used the footrest..

 

its pretty similar to the problem I faced, the gear lever stuck... neither I could kick up nor down. Most probably you need additional spacers... *actually washer will do. This problem is due to the whole racing footrest assembly too close to the swingarm and as we sat on it the racing footrest assembly "caught" and stuck. *Caught by the screw, screw used to secure the "rubber" type chain guard. I send to WY and they solved it for me.

 

My entire gear lever along with the foot-rest came off while I ride to work, luckily it didn't drop on the road... I love the whole racing footrest, but those parts are just tighten by allen screws which makes me worry. U can ask the mech to apply loctite on the screw and tighten them... this what bike-werk boss did and so far OK.
