hellohello. anyone selling racing footrest? been wanting to get one. 2 weeks ago corner at ecp, went too low hit the stock footrest thn skid. like a bicycle accident eh.

u can find out by asking ur mechanic wad is the real prob.. coz its a waste of $$ to change fast throttle.. anyone here using it can xplain to him y liddat?

 

can change biting point de.. juz needa find tat stupid screw. dun worry so much coz my fingers r short and i cannot reach it oso. i oso got change my biting point.

 

u can make it lower if u wan. change suspension. i think maybe ur suspension is racing YSS? tat one would increase the height le.

the biting point for clutch adjust roughly at where ah??

suspension i really not sure wat brand... cut seat also duuno want anot... ride awhile more then see how...

don bother changing to fast throttle when u haven modify ur Carb & CDI, wasting oil.

 

Air horns are still e best. yet to change. dun be shy to use e horn.

 

Do ur outlook 1st, then internal. if nt ur pocket will store butterflies. hahaha~

 

handling and comfort is still e key factor ! lol (=

joby553.. abt ur fast throttle im not too sure.. mayb ur spring no good already.. and for lowering ur rides i highly recommend flat seats and lowering down of fork.. many say flat seat make d butt ache.. but actually for me nicer to seat lei.. haha.. and ur clutch adjustable not on d lever but d other end of d cable d one when u pull ur clutch tat thing also will move.. i dunnoe wats d name of it.. its near d place top up ur engine oil.. u can see lyk 2 or 3 nuts tat one for adjusting.. muz use spanah size 8 if i not wrong..

I cut my seat because I tip toe, better and now might be able to flat foot sometimes.

 

But you have to be mentally prepared, Because your bum might feel numb when you ride longer due to the vibration of the bike. :faint:

im newbie in this forum... want to ask whether anyone ever changed their CDI or ignition coil before?

 

i have bought Rextor CDI & coil Yamaha YZ125, wanted to replace the stock one.

but when i opened the right & left cowling, the things (CDI & coil) still hidden below the centre cowling.

 

I have remove all the exposed screws and yet unable to open the centre cowling.

 

anybody can help me please?

OR try removing the headlamp side? I never try before but I guess those stuff might be somewhere there?

 

Guys installing the IU by the side, any advantages beside been appealing?

Jack, i want the IU unit to be at the side of the fairing but seems like need to drill a hole leh.

i thought JB tires are expensive??? Y dont u try ahboy s'pore. Juz got my x1-r yesterday and change the tires @ ahboy.. 90/80 battlax bt39ss is $85.. Made in japan year 2009! Dunlop should be cheaper. For me tyres the cheapest is still ahboy, elsewhere i ask above tat price.. some even hit $110!!!! really want to eat people money!!!

 

BTW GUYS, HOW COME I CANT FIT 90/80 FOR MY FRONT??? The bro and ahmoi said tat it will hit the mudguard and if i still insist they can give BUT they wont gurantee me anytink.. But my friend fix it before & forumers here says tat it can fit.. Any answers to tis??? Thanks

my friends went over JB and checked eh. they say its cheaper. 90/80 i think too big fr the mudguard alr. will restrict or hit the mudguard. suitable size should be 80/80 if im right.

Haha thanks... Last time my sp i also must tip toe liao... now this bike i tip toe long liao backside pain leh... hehe

 

Last night then found out my rear brakes not working AT ALL... just went to fix...

 

BTW wats CDI??? so now i fix back normal throttle better?? the mech said so stiff is cos of the fast throttle...

yo. jux a tip for you. x-1r biting point can tune near or far.

It's at the engine right side, the clutch cable there's 2 small nuts there.

Tune it urself dude. and don tune so near if u're a safety rider.
