Hmmm don't really see why you should hav CB400 as well as X-1R at the same time. My point is at your age insurance would be quite high... then how you gonna sustain the two bike while in NS? (unless you got strong financial backing) but think again is like throwing money in the sea :cheeky:

I does have the urge getting a big bike, my butt itchy too... but at this point of time X-1R would be good due to easy maintainance, don't drink tat much of fuel... (*I guess u have realize fuel price hike lately)

That time I wanna get a CB400, actually I find myself lucky not riding one... cos monthly installment pretty high... subjected to my DP. Plus my job now kind of unstable (*unforeseen)... imagine I kena "pok" I can't sustain the monthly payments le...

You still can target for FZ6, just tat my point is go "in" at the right time, own the bike with comfort... (*all the above mention base on my personal point of view)

paint markers man...

costs like $2 a marker

happy painting!

yeah man...do feel the bike is struggling...

then again, it boils down to the sprocket size that u r comfortable with..

if u go for pick-up, then it wun struggle with the initial gears but it will take a longer time reaching ur top speed and vice versa...

would not recommend baskets or boxes in front of the bike mainly coz x1-r was designed as the sport version of cubs and the cruiser version to be spark z...therefore it is not meant to put additional storage compartments...

it would damage the outlook of the bike as well as extra modifications that would result in additonal holes in the bike...

however so, it would be on ur own vision of how u 1 ur bike 2 be ... so happy thinking eh...

Yup, blackflys mention in his last thread that a bigger sprocket will do the trick.

yup very restrictive having a front compartment... need to crack hard.

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

to clear sum issues or bros and sis facing.... bigger rim do add weight to the bike... so far biggest seen and installed b4 on x1-r is 2.25.... with 90/80 tyres... 100/70 can fit no problem... only prob it may hit ur fender... for the issue on swingarm being spread to fit the rims, use a thinner spacer....

may want to check with sum of the x1-r forumers after i deristricted their bike how their bike feel.... setting of carb and changing of jetting should do the trick... a trick for poorman bike... heeee

kasumi put in 62mm bore kit already??? top cylinder valve and spring u need to check with moto diam.....

My bike hit 33,000km when I went to replace block n piston + major servicing....It all boils down to riding pattern, coz my block n piston still looked good....I changed cos I bought it when I went to Bangkok for my holidays, dats y itchy hand :D
