nvr install b4 but planning to install HID instead

actually i am currently looking for low wattage HID or LED Bulbs.

i was quoted the following

The HS HID 12v 15watt is priced at s$150 a set ( 1 ballast 1 bulb ) A pair will cost u s$300. Similarly the HS-HID 12w 35watt is priced at s$110 a set ( 1 ballast 1 bulb ). Both are made in korea.

i am more interested in the 15w pair as 35w is higher than our stock rating, might melt headlight casing. but 15w pair damn exp. $300..

i still asking around for cheaper quotes..

got any recommendations?

cheaper alternatives i found are LED Bulbs, which last long, and cheaper.

LED bulbs are very bright too, but it definitely won't give as much road shine as compared to HIDs.

i install not for the purpose of "shinning the road" but more of letting other vehicles know my existence. :cheeky:

i think if u want to install HID, just install 1 bulb will do because white lights doesnt do u any good during rainy days because it cant pass thru rain and other vehicles wont notice ur existence. i planning to install just 1 bulb.

my mechanic quoted me $130 per bulb. not sure what's the wattage but it's definitely H6. will get back to u again once i install.

So they braking power will reduce even if to use the original racing footrest meant for X1R?

hey, to me racing foot rest is good if you like to do corners cuz its higher than the stocks ones. it also gives you the "ready-racing" posture as well. but however the rear braking is not good as the stock ones. im using the racing foot rest now but im changing it back to the stock ones.
