Guys Currently i am using stock suspension for my X1R. The suspension is kinda rusty. I once in a while will pillion. Lets say if my weight is roughly around 60KG and my pillion weight is also roughly around 60KG. So all together is around 120KG. So is it best to use stock suspension or u guys recommend me to get a better suspension? Thanks!

Aftermarket suspension out there is always better than the stock one, trust me, the stock one sucks. But you have to see which one you are getting. A few that you can consider is the YSS or GAZI which is around the same pricing of 200plus? Different stories if it's the one with canister. Just stick to the one without canister, it's more wallet friendly, unless you're going for track racing? If you have the budget, can consider Ohlins, 500 range.

Most bike shop would not cut the fork, it can be lowered by adding more or less fork oil. Fork alignment bent? Just Re-align it because it's 2 fork pointing downwards, if you're saying the fork itself bent. then might as well get a new pair of forks, no use making it straight. damage is done. lol

That I can't help you, you have to go down to bike shop and ask them for quotation. You can try WingYap or Unique, both also can find their thread at the advertiser board.

Yeah, the YSS Mono shock absorber, "Mono" actually meant "one" or "single" since spark/x1r uses only 1 rear shock whereas bikes like wave uses 2 IIRC.

If you're really into it, ohlins should not be even one of your options. No rebound control, just paying for the name. If you really got the cash to blow, go for hyperpro. Held it myself, build quality is far superior than ohlins. Rear shock adjustable and comes with progressive springs. Also comes with progressive fork springs. MW charging around 800 plus install.

If you just wanna make it harder, can go jb and ask them to mod stock shock. Alot better than brands like gazi and yss. Yss springs get soft very easily. Gazi always leak.

To each his own.
