Try using these instead. Find those very small ones. Remove the silver metal thingy after clipping. MIGHT work? :)

Do not remove the silver metal thingy otherwise it will be a hassle the next time you want to take it out. But its your bike your choice. Who am I to tell you what you should and should not do? I am nobody but a troll.

Well when you take it out, you can always fix it back. Its nt that difficult.

True. But you know its human nature to misplace things. When want to take out high chance forgotten where it was kept. However there is a similar clip found in bookshops that does not need the use of the silver thingy. Have fun searching for it.

any of you guys encounter fail in inspection due to the different brand of brake caliper?wondering..cause lately quite a number failed their inspection due to the aftermarket brake disc..is there an issue with changing e brake caliper?

hey guys. just wanna ask a question. my bike gave me problems yesterday. when i came back from a long distance ride, my bike suddenly like 'coughing' after throttle. i was reaching my house there actually. it was on gear 1 or 2. cant quite remember. the red indicator also keeps on lighting. i think engine overheat. and when i switched it off, i cant on it back. no lights on the speedometer or whatsoever. have to kickstart hard then it will come back to life. but when i switched off and on again, theres no light at the speedometer and have to do the same procedure. can roughly tell me whats happening? or some of u might have faced it before i send it to shop? i appreciate ur response.

Some inspection centres will fail racing footrest or not ah? or is a confirm fail thing? Pole lights must be yellow or white? i need to change the colour for inspection but i forgot which is the correct color haha. United impex or any shops along rowell/desker road got sell our suspension? Cause i figured alot of bike things are cheap there.

If you worry too much just leave it as it is. Its a given if you want to mod get ready for these complications. You did say that lately quite a number failed. Is this something you see personally or another one of 'they say my friend say he say' thing?

The inspection jitters. Its a grey area. By right confirm fail because its not stock. Cheaper is one thing the hassle of installing it is another. Good luck.

The best is keep it stock. Easy. Went to Vicom 2 yrs ago, he failed me becos of my oversize flower disc brake. Said must be like the stock that kind rounded -.-

Ride Safe.

Parts that can fail inspection:

Aftermarket brakedisc

Aftermarket calipers

Aftermarket swingarm/pro arm

Inverted forks

Headlight that comes with projector lamp

Angel eyes

HID kit

Bluish white/deep yellowish lightbulb

LED strips

Pole light that is not stock color

Racing footrest

Rear disc brake conversion

Not LTA approved exhaust system

LTA approved exhaust system with modified header/silencer/end can

LED taillight

No mudguard

Front number plate made of sticker

Size/font/spacing of the number plates not according to LTA requirements

Sotong tyres

Almost botak tyres

Tinted headlight/taillight/signal light covers

Only one or no sidemirrors

Air horn

Extra braking lights/front lights

No chainguard

No front sprocket cover

Aftermarket moulded coverset

If some of you have these parts & managed to pass your inspection, it means the inspection officer closed one eye. But that does not mean its LEGAL. TP/LTA officers can still book you.

FYI, LTA officers are allowed to enter your carparks, take pictures of your ride & send letters to your house. So canvas your ride.
