There are alot of factors concerning Fuel Consumption.

one of the factor for mine would be the extremely slow speed i travel @, TPs don't give a hoot about me I guess.

And the way you ride your bike.

 

I bought my spark 2nd hand some time ago, and it is confirmed different from stock, compared to my friend's 1st hand, sounds and feels different.

Maybe engine spoilt or what, but I don't whack my bike as hard as JB riders so, I assume I'm on the safe side.

 

I slow rider, so my pick up naturally slower than others.

Maybe it's just me, but pickup don't appeal to me.

 

Anyways if one is so keen on pick up, might as well get those spoked rims with very thin tyres, and whack the bike from gear1 onwards.

 

I understand, but u using 36T is way lower than stock size (39T) y would u ever tot of using 36T at the first place ?

JAN '08 - JUL '08 ~ VFR 400 (FH *1*3D)

 

JUL '08 - NOV '10 ~ CB 400 (FBC 3*3D)

 

NOV '10 - JUL '12 ~ CBR 600 (FBC *6*3K)

Long ago, I wanted to try 37T, mech said no 37T in stock, got 36, ask want anot.

I said why not.

After that, been loving it, and never looked back, other than once I forgot to tell him 36T when changing whole chain set.

A bike can go up till 200km/h, can the rider go up till 200km/h o_O

If for stock engine using front 15, rear 36, when you add on pillion, take care hor when going up slopes like Mount Faber etc.

 

Yes its true by changing to smaller rear sprocket size, it will increase your top end power but there is a limit on how low you should go. If too low, you might create more engine stress as the bike will require more power to move. I will only suggest 15 front, rear 38 if you always ride with pillion. A decrease of 1 teeth already makes a big difference.

im using a 15T front 32T back. LOL

Lagi worst! That probably explains why you feel like clutch slipping (posted at X1R thread).

 

Rear sprocket too small that your engine makes high revs.

Be careful, my friend had his SP foot rest modified for Spark changed to stock footrest,

Rear disc changed to drum.

Just for inspection.

Well depends on luck though,

bear in mind that racing footrest got no center stand, and if there is, most probably, it's sawed off from stock footrest as per mentioned somewhere in the forum.

 

so to change, one might need to get the whole set.

 

You might get lucky and a certain inspection officer just waves you off, or not.

fails you.

Mentioned couple of times in the forum, that there are people looking for this type.

There are bike shops that provide these services, but I don't know any.

They charge a premium though.

Get your mech to check the wiring. The one that goes to the ignition.
