A fren of mine used BRT and got his CDI burned at the highway.. dunno whats the cause of it.. some say racing CDI doesn't last long.. dunno wich is true..

 

stock cdi is meant for everday use, definately outlasts those race cdi's.. if you want, get the stock cdi that is made in thailand.. that one is better..

as i have said in another post. if you wanna use aftermarket cdi, please make sure you have racing valve springs to replace your stock valve springs.

 

racing valve springs are harder and springs back the valve faster than the stock one. since racing cdi cuts rpm limit, the piston will be moving faster and if the valves dont contract fast enough it will hit your piston.

 

your piston will break if you rev too high above the stock rpm limit. so im presuming eddictive changed to racing valve springs right?

hey guys, just got myself a yoshi tri-oval and a *** cdi and so i went to try to speed up but to my shock cause i dun realli ride fast often, once i reach aabout 120km/h why does my bike tend to move like a snake? as in i could feel my wheels are shaking... luckily nothing happen sia.... thank GOD

Its a moped, its light hence the snake movement at that speed.. Try 140km/h, worse but fun.. Get bigger width rims for stability..

Experienced the same thing before but I was going slightly faster. Is your bike 1st hand or 2nd?

your pipe registered in wat bike ? x1r ? sparkz? or maebe not registered? its like impossible u gt summon from lta. maybe no silencer ? or maybe hes aiming u etc..

Well i've been usin cdi non adjustable brt for abt 6mths now same day when i purchased my spark. adjustable cdi mostly for track use.

 

-sUuQr|e- bike goyang is it wen ridin too fast or in cornering? u shld tighten ur handling or put damper like eddictive. the cos of ''snake'' is da handling . if da handling hav tighten & still goyang than shld check tyre & shock..

If u wanna make ur bike go faster than stock can.. 160km/hr u say? sure BUT theres a risk . ur engine wont make it that long . sometimes not even 6 mths all habis . just do standard moding. - Sprocket / Highcam / Carb (or pot stock carb) / Pipe ..that will do.. but i thought stock spark can go top at 140km/hr ez? lols..
