[Group] SBF Yamaha X1

update: i've change my throttle back to the normal 1. but the engine will still die when i stopped.(not that frequent anymore) BUT it will still die. can any "PRO" please tell me what is going wrong on my yamaha x1? i need help badly =(

i change the carb back to the stock one already. i dunno whats wrong now.. im desperate for help sloving this problem. pls help out guys..

Went For Full Service Before? Full As In Really Really Full Service?

i went for a Full Service on 19th feb, last week at Hua Chin motor shop. As for your Really Really Full Service, i do not know. well, now my bike still got problem, i dont think they really did a really really full service for me. im not going back there again. really piss-off. any other bike shop to recommend in the west area?

Haa. Hua Chin Is Never A Right Place To Go. That Shop Has Been Flamed Before In This Forum. There Is A Thread Just For His Shop. His Mechs Will Cut Ur Throat Till Cannot Cut One. Hahaha.

 

Once My Sparkplug Was Wet & Bike Cudnt Start. The Mechs Say Ohh Starter Coil Spoil & Wanted To Charge Me $65.

 

I Told Him To Change New Spark Plug & I Kick Start & Everthing Was Fine.

 

There Is Another 2 More Bikeshops In The Same Building. One Across The Block. When U Go Up The Slope, Turn Right. Some Say That Shop Is Okay But Ive Never Been There Before. The Other One At Basement.

 

Maybe You Wanna Try At Toh Guan Road East? Near IMM There.

Go To Enterprise Hub. There Is Asphoon, Heng Motors & Another Shop.

Thats Why U Got To Do Lots Of Reading About Bikes In The Net & Magazines So If They Chop U, U Know.

ya man. i just came back, my engine didnt die on me this time. but everytime when i stopped, i will be very scare. =x

anyway the symptom you mentioned rite.. its very hard for the "PRO" to define the faults.. as we are just trying our guess.. to hit the rite spot. just a few cent of suggestion.. we can try meeting up when we are goin for rides .. or you can first meet up with those x1 riders around yr area.. or the best of the best way.. find a mech..

where can i change my ignition keys?

 

can x1 have a digital speedometer and electric start?

hmm.1 of the reason as 2 y i die die go all de way 2 kaki bukit even though toh guan is 5mins frm my place.ups for unique

new coverset.u can try ah boy or bplus.budden u w8 till cows fly.i gt my whole coverset for $250.3 colors.black, pearl white & silver.incl everything.

 

for ignition keys i dunno coz nvr chg bfor.

 

for digital speedo i tink dat time dey got talk about it so jus click on previous pages.

 

for electric start.better nt do coz it's goin 2 cost a bomb n nt worth it.

Want to check with you guys riding x1, can the x1 use x1r tyres or rims? As in the size and all. Cos my brother is getting x1. Thinking of changing the rims to sport rims.

Should be able to fit.

Most of it are universal meaning can fit most cub bikes!

Just need to find the rims that can use rear drum brakes.

As for tyres, 80/80 or 80/90 profile can fit.

there is a yamaha agent located in SG. you can find it at Rowell Road. Its near serangoon road. cant remember name of the shop. but its there. lol

chui sia.. the rims one is disc another is drum.. you wan to fix you need to change the brake system "revospeed" you dreaming ar... later ben take machine gun KO you leh....

did he mech wash ur carb a not??

 

ask ur mech to check on ur fuel line system. last owner might be using low grade fuel, or jb oil, mix 2t for 4 stroke.

 

also do not pour thoses fuel saver oil in to x1, as they will choke ur fuel line.

 

tune ur rpm higher, check if ur exhaust leaking a not.

 

if exhaust leak too much, it will also cut e engine.

 

also do check ur EO, if ur EO get lesser and lesser, check if ur bike leaks black oil when ur park. if no oil on the floor then ur piston ring and block got to be checked.

check fuel line, check air intake path, check carb setting. else all fails,

 

where do you stay? my x1 also have this problem but, i raise my rpm.

 

my current rpm should be 1.5k during idle. i am only guessing my rpm compared to my 2 stroke bike, as x1 does not have a tacho meter.

 

if ur near me i wont mind taking a look at ur bike. you can find my contacts below my Sp.

Sorry bro, don't quite get what you mean? Is it must change the brake system to change to sport rims? The x1 currently got sport rims already... Just want to change to another colour... Like that also must change brake system?
