Hi guys~ I am still a newbie. I basically just wanna to find out what's the difference between x1 and honda wave besides their difference in their cc? Some1 enlighten me please! Thanks in advance =)

drill hole on the head cover, where e signal is

 

Hey Ben, thanks for your insight but one more question and request.

If I was to drill a hole right on top of the signal light on the left side its fine but on the right side theres the brake oil cover so I dont wanna risked going through that.

Do you happen to have a picture of how you do it?

I know this is alot but i would really appreciate it.

liddat ar... u arga arga see lor.. den open up the top cover check where got free space to drill lo..

use a shorter screw lor...

since u work in car workshop should be very easy for u wat

guys, i'm quite new to this X1...been riding around for about 3 months now...

 

my bike is fully stock, i tried riding till meter 120km/h at expressway and my spark plug cap came off...bike died, stop at shoulder and fix it back.. :lol:

 

happen twice to me and started to be a good boy...riding at 80km/h (bike meter) and everyone starts pushing me from behind while i'm on the very most left lane in the expressway.....

 

so, i was riding to work as per normal and decided to ride at a constant speed of 100km/h (bike meter) from SLE woodlands towards TPE Loyang....out of a sudden, e bike died and i scrambled to the shoulder :help:

 

Checked the plug cap, its on....so i tried starting the bike, e bike starts (thank god)

rode off....but i notice that there's a 'click,click,click' (louder than usual idling sound) when i'm at traffic light (idling)....

 

Does anyone here have any idea wat is it?

the bike power is still there but i'm kinda worried abt the sound....

i also recently downgrade from 1L to .1L

i also have the being pushed from behind problem when riding 80km/h at lane 3

my x1 can only do 110 km/h, same same i was wondering if it is harmful to maintain 100..

 

One thing i do find weird is that the bike runs better at 110km/h than it does on 80km/h.. is this a common thing to x1?

from 1L to .1L sure a big JUMP (backwards)

erm harmful to maintain 100? i will say abit la.. i use it for despatch, i always whack only when on highway, 100 ~ 120 but most of the time is 100 to 110 lo.. been riding for 2 years, piston still ok, but slowly the sound is coming out after 2 years though...

still able to ride like b4, no diff

I did 130 a few times on the way to work. One time, the engine died right after I close the throttle.

Overhaul $500++

Lesson learnt.

Also found out there was sand in my engine somehow =[

Haha.. Wow... Someone share exactly de same exp wif me... Painful exp but at least i learn that no matter how much i push, is still a 110cc bike... Haha..

haha yeah mann, good to know that Im not the only one after all.

I think what X1 riders need to remember is that we bought the bike at a cheaper price then any other cubs there eg Spark or X1-r. That being said, its obvious that there is a reason why our bikes are cheaper. Its less powerful then the rest because of the smaller engine.

But also that being said, we have certain perks like cheaper parts and stuff like that.

So pros and cons.
