can.. see who's the rider corner la.. perilous once said ppl use sotong can corner deeper then ppl use 9080. tgk rider ada bran tak je.. and much more easier lah.. shaky depends on ur suspension setting in my opinion, when im using last time ok ah.. more thrill coz very easy to maneuver and more risk to fall :p other wise, its syok!

sotong u guys use normally viva brand eh? how's the rubber perform on raining days? licin tk? my friend bought michelin sotong at jb size 60/80 jugak tk salah.. and whats the diff if use sotong tyres on sport rim than spokes?

Posted

Sport rims will be more safer cause its tubeless.

Spokes lighter than sports rim.

It's all depend on your preference though.

yup.. usually viva.. cheap.. sotong very fast wear out.. viva the best, griping good esp oh hot day! superb! sotong on spoke will be the perfect match. but must aware of bumps and air pressure.. not enough air will cause the tube to rub against its self and tear, bump will poke the tube too.. many other reasons la.. sports rim the easiest, but heavy.. you wont felt much, but will felt the diff if u tried both :)

for rainy wet days, for me,i think no diff, but as usual do not brake on markings. and if u really speed n e brake, and jam brake,of course lah..

Yea, i've tried using spoke rims+sotong tyres. and now sport rims+sotong tyres.

spokerims+sotong tyres= super light but troublesome! coz mine punctured twice a week so i changed back to sport rims.:faint:

sportrims+sotong tyres= much more stable( in my opinion) coz its slightly heavier. and im using racing boy 8 batang ones with size 1.6 frnt and 1.8 rear. with 60/80 vivaracing tyres front and rear and it dont look that small compared to those using small2 spoke rims. those viva tyres with threads like michelin pilot. good grip but the rear tyres wears out very fast.o_O

ofcource, if the roads wet, even bt39 u can fall.(which i fell lotsa times ald).:cheeky:

lucky me, using these sotong tyres i didnt fall. only skided here and there due to hard braking coz of those drivers out there. haha:angel:
