I am thinking of starting another new project soon. But could not make up my mind on what to do.

 

1. Do a bobber on a Honda Rebel 125/250.

2. Do a bobber on a Honda Phantom TA200.

3. Do a Honda Twister 250 full dress tourer.

4. Just buy a Sachs Madass 125.

 

Tony, any suggestions? :)

Yeah... changed the seat to those old bicycle style seat. Bought it on ebay from USA and got a shop to install it for me.

Hello guys. A noob here who don't know much about bike. Anyway, I don't ride a CG125, but a CB100. There's no thread on a CB100 bike, so I would like to ask a question here and see if any of u can help.

My bike's headlight, tail light and signals are very weak and all the lights are very dim. It looks like there's hardly any light at all. Is there anyway to improve it? My bike is made in 1971...

 

have a change of your battery and run a direct grounding to the battery

 

if still cannot,change the coil.

 

the stock bike lighting are all dim.....live with it.

hello fellow cgrians, im riding a cg125. i need to change both my front and rear hub becuz the brakes not makan animore, do u noe where i can find the hubs? bcuz i tried JB, and they say they dont sell cg125 hub animore, bcuz no one is using it. anybodi noe where to find the hubs? if really no hubs, i might considering selling the bike alreadi...

 

1.have you change your brake shoes?unles you tell me your hub spoilt already.

2.you can mod rxz hub and rims into it.

The new seat is wider and so a little more comfy... and looks more retro...:cheeky:

 

 

I think I will go for a rebel 125. Granted it is slow and small, but don't forget that I am only of average height. Anyway the bike will lose weight by the time I am done with it. This will be a slow, long and quite comprehensive build. Wish me luck, cause I am gonna need it. :thumb:

yeah mr tony, i just changed my brake pads alreadi, so i supposed the hub is alreadi spoilt as in the inside makan alreadi, so i need to change the hub. Then today i asked rowell road united motors, then they say they dont sell it anymore, no demand. since u say change to rxk hub and rims, that means front disc brake?

you will need to change the front fork as well as the brake calliper need mounting point.

 

is both your brakes not working well?

the rear and the front is the same.

see you can bring the better condition 1 to the front so that you dun need to change the fork.

 

 

or you can order from china online.

I've emailed them n their response is quite fast. Think international shipping is about usd20. U can try email them by choosing the products that u r interested. They will tell u the shipping price.

I decided not to order from them in the end as I decided to mod my bike next year instead. :)

Hello everyone! I own a CG125 as well but mine's boring cuz I haven't got the time to do anything to it. I saw another young guy at my house carpark with a CG125 as well, his not bad, well maintained. I wanna approach him but shy ahh (i'm a malay girl, he's a chinese guy). Hahah.. I live at Hougang. By any chance that guy is here? =D

Quite thick i guess, don't have the measurement for it. Its stainless steel! So won't rust also.
