Hi fellow CGians,

 

I have question about my CG125 Titan Horn.

 

When I press my horn while riding at 60km/h or more, there's not much sound from it.

 

Happened to me yesterday when a car suddenly cut into my lane and i pressed my horn, guess what, the horn is very soft! Luckily i managed to avoid the car. I tried testing my horn again when the bike is stationary, it sounds normal to me! But it just failed me when i most need it!

 

Any idea what's the reason for the soft horn while riding at moderate speed? Should i change the horn to a louder one?

 

your horn is not working well.just get a replacement horn.go motoworld.the brand "alpha" is very lound and only $15.diy installation is easy

try GN125 tank.

Cg can use rxk front fork?

 

Or other front fort which have brake disc?

as long as the diameter of the fork is the same,most likely can use.(or you can modify the triple clamp to fit onto the cg)

you will need the brake pump,rim,caliper,disc brake.

Rxk diameter is 30mm. Cg is 27mm.

Wish I had it in my old 1991 CG125, then she won't have to die:( It's cheap and it works. I'm using it now in my new X1R. Feels smoother and stronger.

 

Thought of my own concept of conditioning engine inside so that won't wear out so fast to avoid overhaul as I am a high rev rider as I'm always rushing and hate slow traffic. Price was cheap so gave it a shot. Engine oil additive $15 (add in full bottle of 50ml during new oil change), fuel additive $8 (I think) add in during pumping petrol. More power and mileage, no mods.

 

Sorry if I sound like I'm exaggerating... I tried full throttle on gear 1... It was smooth and engine just roared and can feel that it can take it as vibrations were minimal. I went abit crazy after that. I'm 80kgs with backpack of about 10kgs riding at 100-120km/h on a full stock yamaha X1R")

 

Just think this is good for your engines, cheap enough to give it a shot. I'm not the seller.

Hello Cg riders need help from u guys. I just bought the cg I think wanna make over everything like wiring, speedo meter, engine, brakes, seats n etc. where the best shop to service everything? Hope to hear good replys or meet up and have a chat.

Mine is not very loud either. Typical peep peep horn of a small bike. I think I should check it out too. How loud is the one at Motoworld? About that of a Super4?
