bro i got the same idea as u.. but rear drum brake is a lack point, is not efficient than disc..

 

Surprisingly, my brakes are quite strong.

for e rear drum brake or disc brake does not make much diffrent lar...its how u brake dats important, 4stroke engine braking very strong, beside my twister even my rxz n other rxz are drumbrake and this bike had serve us for yrs,unless we are talking abt bigger bikes larh den maybe disc n drum are e issue

Yesterday finally found crash bar for my ride. So happy...bike now looks bigger...think the next thing on my list is to fix side box.

where did u get e crash bar?price and got pics? thks

I remade my bracket at another workshop, nicer.

Dead thread I believe. Changed carb needle & plug to Denso Iridium. Feel better.

got it at the auntie shop beside Ah Boy shop. forgotten how much le. They'll need to do slight modifications to fix the crash bar up.

Honda Twister CB250. Black Color with nice bidded no. plate.

Registered March 2009. Mileage as of today is approx. 6100km.

Parked in multi-story carpark and ride only on weekend.

Fitted with crashbar and 42L cocoon box.

every 3k change oil + oil filter without fail

every 6 mths change engine oil

 

just did a minor overhual..you know replace timing chain etc...

 

currently fitted with:

DID X ring chain

new honda sprocket front & rear

my dad's kappa box? dunno the size but it's able to fit 2 helmets.

 

all serving comes with receipts as prove and was done in sep 2010.

 

looking at 3k =)

Hi Kioz, your dads Twister got 2 side suspension? did he modified it or wrong picture you post the side pannier if I'm not mistaken also looks like the picture is SPEC111 of S4 but it's well care bike after all.

hello guys just wana ask i anyone can help me out abit here. apreciate it alot guys!..

cbx 250 is kinda a nice balance.

i tot of changing a bike which is easy to maintain abit like a 'wave' . being it an air cooled engine.

and can go 120km/h - 150km/h just in case emergency i'm in hurry

 

so here are the question:

 

1.how much is the machine price?

2.how much for insurance under 21. just passed 2a? =D

3. normal routine of maintenance? is it cheap like wave?

Mine is Kappa 42L. It comes installed with the bike when I bought it. Previously i used Givi on my phantom. Still prefer the latter tho..

 

bro.. can i see your box rack?? got any pic.. cant seem to find box rack for my twister and had ask alot of shop..

Very quiet here..

Juz change to NGK Iridium plug, new filter, bought 2nd hand Givi box & rack. Now sending for spraying & adding a 2nd hand head fairing. Stay tune..

 

what kind of rack are you using?? i'm looking for one.. can share with us the pic?? hehe..

this is my bike.. been riding for the past 1 year.. hope this thread not so dead..

 

and anyway.. my box rack is the previous owner weld by himself and i'm thinking of getting a better and more stable rack. this current setting of this rack also seems like i put any box is much higher and hence not so stable when i go above 110km/h.. hope to see some great twister pic and more sharing of tips.. cheers...
