For the 125, heard have but not recommended like what ProFatSir mentioned.

For the 200, basically it's a 300 downsized. Block and piston swap maybe possible. There are other factors that comes into consideration like:

1. Block

2.Piston

3.ECU

4. Rear Final Drive Gearing Set

5. Injector

After all this replacement, you'll be better off with a Downtown 300 and a class 2A license.

Totally not recommended.

If between Honda 300 and Kymco 400 and if the price is about the same. The choice is obvious.

Head turner and performance would be the Xciting 400 i guess and overall Honda gets the reputation.

I have to see both scoot in real life though to see how Honda and Kymco look and feel like in real life.

I am wearing the DryMaster Compact pants. They sold me seperately for $80.

Neotec really exudes quality. Very comfortable and well ventilated. Seriously, once use high end good lids, won't want to go for average helmets liao.

That's the price I was quoted for the pants as well. Maybe should pay them a visit to get the pants or otherwise just use a normal one. Agree with helmets, wearing a arai, I just refuse to put on those cheaper helmets as they give me a very weird feeling lol.

Lol. Open face helmets give me a weird feeling. I can't live without flip up helmets man. Haha.

MotoWorld rocks for riding gears I guess. Too bad, Singapore very few places for getting riding accessories, let alone affordable ones (especially for me, a student). Haha.

Guys,

I went down to MS to do a servicing of my bike (old Grand Dink 150cc) at MS and was informed of the price increase:

Mineral Oil 20W/50 - from $12 to $15/bot

Synthetic Oil 15W/40 - from $15 to $18/bot

Gear Oil - from $5 to $6 per 0.18L

I didn't change the following but it should be the following:

Oil Filter - $12 (unchange)

Labour - from $5 to $6 (for servicing incl. change of oil filter)

A pair, front and back ~$210.

Ask around for prices, some charge additional labour due to the hassle to remove the rear wheel.

Recommended :Metzeler Feelfree

Other choices

Michelin Power Pure

Michelin City Grip

Pirelli Diablo

Yeap. Metzeler FeelFree is highly recommended. It gives you the confidence to ride even in the wet. However, you probably would want to change it by 12-14k km of use.

I can't say the same thing about Pirelli (which only has about 75-80% of the grip of the Metzeler), however, it is reported to last longer (At least 15k km to about 18k km.

The Metzeler has a 2 months waiting list though. Currently no stock. It's $190/pair and you gotta collect yourself or ask bike shop to bring it over for you.

I changed my Metzeler FeelFree at Unique Motorsports Kaki Bukit.

Then I changed Pirelli Diablo SC at Ah Chong Motor.

huhuhu...i still have a problem with my DT200i...although not a big problem but it is very irritated...

As early morning i started the engine..in less 20sec it will shut off the engine..the normal RPM is about 1400-1600.. but before engine shut off the RPM will go high as 2200 and sudden drop to 800-900... then i need to switch off the key for about 1min before start the engine again..until i got 2bar temperature..then the engine is ok and ride as normal...

It is occurred everyday...morning when going out to office..and afternoon going back from office...

Already sent to distributor and check with Kymco diagnose device..and no problem detected...

current mileage is 18300km...just 1year

Probably something wrong with the fuel injector.

This problem is common to Xciting300Ri and G.Dink 300i.

I am just curious if the throttle reset are being carried out. Obviously it should have been by the agent.

Have you tried it yourself waiDEE?
