I am selling my excellent condition, accident free, drop free Downtown 300i. Super low mileage of 18000km for a less than 3 year old bike. SIngle owner with zero tansfers. Always sheltered carpark. Everything stock condition by a fussy owner with engineering knowledge. Always serviced by agent Motorsports only.

Break in done the gentle and progressive way with varying RPM. Serviced 300-500km then. After running in, serviced approx. every 3000km.

Superb & consistent fuel consumption of MORE than 30km/litre (Mixed highway and road, non sissy riding).

Selling to buy another bike.

Will retain my 2 digit number and you will get a new LTA number aka like a new bike.

PM me to meet for no obligatory viewing.

I've been riding DT200 for 5 months, so far so good.

Handling wise really top notch, fuel consumption about 27-30km/L(a bit high IMO, maybe due to my habit to throttle high at traffic light.

I see more and more DT on the road now.

This scooter is truly great looking scooter.

At least 10 ppl (nv met before) came to me praised about the bike's looks and enquire price.

Many of my friends/colleagues also say I've got a very good looking scooter

Just to check if anyone encounter this problem.

Recently I noticed the battery indicator came on while I was riding. This happened on a few occasions so I thought the battery about time liao and decided to let MS have a look. When the old battery was taken out I was quite surprise to see a sticker indicating 23/02/13 (10mth) which I thought was too soon. How long does your battery last btw?

Anyway got it replaced but after one week(yesterday) while riding the battery indicator came on again. Can't be battery issue but what could it be? Should I just ignore it?

All warning lights are there for a purpose, if its not important, the manufacturers would take taken hem out to save cost. Don't ignore any warning light until you're sure its a indication problem.

The Battery light indicates that the battery isn't charging. The usual suspect is the alternator or its regulator. It could be a fault in the indicator light circuit, this is part of the regulator circuit which is quite simple - meaning, not likely the case.

Get it checked or risk a dead battery.

Tks for the replies. I guess my previous battery was not the problem afterall which makes me wonder why the short lifespan. But MS actually did the checks when they fixed the new battery and letting engine run to make sure alternator is working. Have to go back again n hopefully not waste anymore $.
