So finally i decide to buy a new one Enquiry and a couple of shop but then After Calculating with my insurance, i down about 3k and my montly intallment about 300 for 48months. Is it too expensive for a 2B Bike? Thank you.

Hi snezams

Welcome to the Kymco family. Generally bikes are more expensive now due to the COE factored in. But an advise I got from the old timers once you sign on the dotted line, don't bother to ask just enjoy the bike. What can you do when you find there's a cheaper one else where? Cheers.

Hi, don't worry. You've bought a good scooter. Fuel consumption very good. Ample power for a 2B scoot. Made a right choice. What u paid is worth it. You are paying in a shorter period, naturally the installment is higher, is normal factoring in the current situation in the bike world. :) Cheers :D

But sadly all shop don't do refinance for kymco 200i which is selling quite affordable. Any more shop to recommend or bank to recommend?

Hi

I was wondering why shops got business and they don't want your business too?

I dun think any shops will wana do re-loan for you due to the Lemon Law that they have to factor in. I suggest that you get a brand new one and start maintaining it yourself. Price for downtown is high due to your insurance. Everywhere the same.

Thinking of going back to autoscoot after 4 yrs.

Find the Downtown interesting.

Any idea what is the OTR inclusive of coe is like now? (would be nice if someone Kymco sg side PM me )

What's the price of the original belt, rollers, clips, variator, clutch bell and clutch cost is like? (I used to ride auto scoot for 7 years. these are the common wear and tear parts and could be costly to repair)

Any recommended shops?

Finally do Motorscports do 0% credit card installment?

The price of the downtown 200i is now at about $13,700 due to the recent COE. As for the parts, its the price to pay if you want it to last.

Currently only Unique Motorsports is offering 0% Credit Card Instalment.

Motor Sports needs a 20% down payment at least with 1 guarantor...

Pricing for used DT200i is still quite high in the market. And I don't think there will be many used ones on sale as the bike is relatively new.

Need some advice from fellow kymco-nians... TIA

1.) Especially during off, i can hear clanking sounds coming from directly beneath me.

2.) Underseat gets hot when i rev harder ( Previously no issues )

3.) Somehow overall pick up speed seems to be lower ( Belt Issue? )

4.) Lastly, i understand my rear tyres are running out and i experience "fast twitch" especially riding in between the lane lines. Does this problem occur due to lousy tyres or just that scooters in general face this problem due to the longer wheel base.

1. That will be the exhaust cooling down tick tank clonk noise. Perfectly normal.

Especially very hot exhaust or at night where it is cooler the noise will be more pronounce.

2. Rev harder engine hotter especially hot weather.

Previously never notice?

3. Pickup slower maybe a good thing. I want slower after changing my variator but pickup faster than last time and fuel consumption goes up.

Slower maybe all run-in so it should be change lower gear faster. A worn belt will have higher rpm not lower. Pickup will be faster too with a worn belt. I guess.

4. This is perfectly normal as discuss before due to engine and rear wheel is one unit connected by rubber bushing hence the twitch.

If you don't ride on the splitted line you won't feel it.

The feeling like the front wheel amd rear wheel going in diffetent direction. Most scooter should have this issue just more or less.

Thanks Bro. But especially for the clanking noise, its sounds as if a metal pipe is loose. Damn but anyways thanks!
