Thank you so much for the info on different tyres. Really usefull and i decided Metzeler feelfree. But only end of next month than will have stock. Btw how much will normally it will cost for normal servicing.

 

Last Week i did first time service after the first owner last serviced about 2Months Ago..

 

 

 

Engine Oil Silkolene Pro4 - $64 ($32x2 Bottle)

Air Filter Change to the metal one they said can reusable - $70

Spark Plug - $8

Workmanship $12

Total = $154

 

So probably my next servicing will be around about reached another 5000km.

probably about 20,000km in total milage.

So when will i need to change my Belting?

The Coolant I just check myself and the level quite low. Can i just buy any coolant or a certain brands or type?

Just collected my new DT 300i from M S last Sat. Been doing familiarisation rides (including with pillion) the past few days as this is my first time riding a scooter. So far so good. Smooth riding on the expressways.

 

Looking forward to the meet up with the rest of the DT owners here to learn more about this scoot.

 

One last thing. I had fitted a Gianelli street legal after exhaust pipe to my DT300i. Just got it inspected & approved at KB Viacom yesterday. The stock exhaust now still at MS. I have not collected it yet. Anybody here wants it ???.... for a reasonable, affordable price of course...

for scooter. manual said use 10w40 oil. Giant 5w40 is alittle too thin.

 

 

I get mine shell advance ultra 15w50 oil from motorrus.com, $16 ea

 

find a shop to change. have to pay abt $5 workmanship

I change oil at 2.5k - 3k mileage. So I don't bother with any ester base addictive.

may i know the downtown rear brake pad or noth front at back how much will it cost? does it only have at motorsport or unique also have?

Kanchong coz scared tired burst. but i did go there and they have only stock for the rear tyre only. front one in 1 month time.

 

Btw recently when im about to move off the bike vibrate badly but after roughly around 2nd gear then the vibrate gone. any advise or anybody got this before. because this vibrate thing so strong that affect my low speed control. Hope to hear from someone soon.

There are squeaking sounds coming from underneath my 1-month new DT 300I when I am going up and down the hump and when I shift my bum around the seat. Appreciate senior bros' advice here. Thanks !

I experience this too but it's just a short while or I am rolling faster then clutch biting point. Anyone has same issue ??
