There are squeaking sounds coming from underneath my 1-month new DT 300I when I am going up and down the hump and when I shift my bum around the seat. Appreciate senior bros' advice here. Thanks !

I will suggest you to bring the bike back to motor sports for a check.

Hey guys, i would wish to become one of the family. But i would want to know more about dt200i.

As i used to ride gilera and x9. And you guys the old bird advise me on my points?

1) is the servicing exp? And only agent can service it? Like pulsar that need to go to agent .

2) is the bike always seems to be giving problems? Like sound and stuff which i had read up some rider face this issue.

3) for example like mirror with signal lights and some accessories on bike issit hard to get in singapore?

As gilera have lots of accessories parts in singapore that i can get.

4) and for the compartment below the seats issit spacious like gts200?

All this point are to compare with GTS 200 too.

Thanks so much Riders!! :)

I would suggest you talk to owners of GTS first then make comparison...... Cos no point talk about Sym in a Kymco thread.

Hi, I need some veteran kymco rider here.

I'm a new rider to DT 300i. When turning on the ignition key without pressing the starter button, I see that all the indicators like battery, fuel.. are on then they are off by themselves. However, there are 2 indicators: engine oil symbol and battery symbol remain ON until I press the starter button. When the engine starts idling, the 2 symbols then turns off. Is that abnormal?

My DT is almost 15000Km, which needs to be serviced as well

Thanks

It's perfectly normal...initial power on is self test. After that you are draining battery (cos engine not started, thus alternator not cranking to produce electric current) and oil pressure low (engines not running, no pressure)

Thanks Paithorn. So, when do we know the battery is weak? How often should we change it?

My first battery was changed when the BATT signal remains on for another 20-30 secs after engines was started. Also felt the crank was slightly longer...... I changed batt as precaution. Bike was 2 years, 1 moth when I changed
