I just hope the new Xciting 400i will retain the Titanium color of my DT125i.

 

Seems that 2012 color options have the Silver color replacing the Titanium color.

 

I prefer the Titanium color. My bike's freaking dirty, for I haven't washed it at all since last year June, and you can't tell that it's dirtied from a distance.

Yellow looks very sporty... like sports car color.. can consider that.. have to wait at least another 6 more months.. =(

Seletar seems to be a good place to gather for bike riders.. COE rise again.. crazy... Think I will choose Xciting... prefer the looks... but why no oil filter.. so weird.. Is there any nice box to go with Xciting? So I can put another helmet.. really nice box..

This looks not bad.. maybe a smaller one will be better.. looking from the side I cannot tell clearly if it is Xciting or Downtown 300..

Sorry. Another question, is there any warranty for Kymco? I read from the website there are 2 years warranty. It covers the mileage or just purely 2 years? I don't think Singapore has that? The backrest is optional right? how much does it cost? Does Xciting 300ir comes with ABS?

Me just got back from Defensive Riding Course.

 

Quite fun. But was totally not used to the Learner bike. Haha. Suddenly the bike felt small after riding DT125i all these while.

 

Now I know the DT is a huge two wheeler in comparison.

I think local warranty is 1yr only?? But if Im not wrong, its unlimited mileage.

Dont think Herbert brings in the ABS model due to the extra cost.

 

Backrest is accessories as part from the box u buy. Just a fixture on the box I think is $150 thereabouts if I'm not wrong.

Ha ha ha, yes, I purposely left that info out about traveling at 140km/h to make it seems like it's having a higher than usual fuel consumption.

 

But...seriously this downtown can actually do least 25km/l @ top speed if it was other downtown. Mine happens to be drinking more than others.

Managed to meet up with one Xciting 300Ri rider today at the petrol kiosk near my house.

 

He modified his seat to a lower height and painted it white to match the color of his bike.

 

Apparently, he's working on a trip up north to Kuantan in future. Liasing with MS

He's getting around 27-28km/L, and he's complaining. I was like, very good already lorh. Haha.

 

He traded up from DT300i. Current Xciting same age as my DT, with registered FBF series.
