for low beam, try to use philip vision plus on your head lamp.

It should helps.

Due to the small area coverage of FF75, you basically can't see anything with your exist configuration. In another words, a waste of money fixing something tat doesn't help u. :sorry:

In fact your 450 will do a very decent job as compare to 75 if u had fix mount on ur crash bar. (u know wat i meant)

Hi buggers,

I have ordered the FF50 about $126/- with GST at the same shop.

To Bats & swift,

They can exchange with each other - one side using either fog/drive lamp...if they wanted to  only a suggestion!

They can mount the fog light on the left side of the bike and the drive light on the right side of the bike.

Both FF75 -drive and fog lamps are identical to look at on the outside - only when you 'ON' then you see the difference is the lumen coverage.

The FF75 looks good on swift's bike with his new wide engine guard...:lovestruck:

Hahaha....

Bats I have a suggestion, you might want to consider, but quite challenging and very tiring.

You can call it as Diversion Endurance Ride

Start ride at 0000hr

Ride for 600km, go Lata Kinjang waterfall near Tapah.

Lata Kinjang waterfall is about 800ft tall, very nice, quiet. Similar to Kota Tinggi, but much less crowded.

Reach there about 0800hrs, after that enjoying/rest for 2 hours.

at about 1000hrs heading back to SG, maybe can drop by Rawang for fish.

Reach S'pore about 1900hrs

Total distance is about 1200km in one day.

You have plenty of time to play your light. :D

Hi mctan,

Yes, the lens is the only give away, the housing, colour and the sizes are all alike.

So the rational thing is that the fog's lamp wide lumen coverage is better to be on the left side of the bike as most of the time we're keeping left.

As for the right side of the bike, by using the drive lamp you are able to take advantage of it's narrow beam to luminate further and it does not blind the on coming vehicles -where a normal fog light does.

I ordered the drive lights FF50 so I angle it such a way that it helps to brighten up the lumen coverage where our regular headlights are lacking off.

Mounting and positioning the drive or fog lamps higher on your bike is the best option. It is always best to put those lamps closer to our eye's level but this will kill the bike's look

I say again, it is only a suggestion to Bats and Swift. They should decide it between themselves...!

Hmmm... so far most of the night ride which I went with.. Most of the diversions were on the right lane... :D

To those who has FF-50 or FF-75, my recommendation is to get a set of clear cover for your light. Hella has the clear cover as accessories for these light, it is to protect your lens.

all lights will blind incoming vehicle.

it depend on the driver siting position.

even you just on ur low beam, e opp vehicle will still high beam on u unless u on only side light.

rather than worry abt them, our purpose to fix fog/drive light is for better night vision ie safety :thumb:

After I fixed my, I nvr wan to look back liao :D
