Isn't this very common? Alot of shops wanna sell their fully synthetic to me for 18 -20 bucks like that. But its a YBR. Semi is more than enough for me. But then again, should i really try fully synthetic?

The battery thing... i dun even kno the connetors... Maybe one day can go down to limbat get dry cell.

 

On vehicle charging in not similar btw i dun sell batteries - I given free battery reconditioning service .................

recommend u try out royal purple max-cycle 20w-50 eo, S$18 per bottle.

DIY, cos shop is a general electrical retail shop in ------------------complex, #blk 2, 02-20.

or u can bring it to any bike shop, they charge a nominal fee for oil change service.

@stsoh: Yeah..I used royal purple for my ex-bike b4.. Its a good engine oil. But i would prefer to purchase and change engine oil together at a motorshop.

I use semi bro! Mobil extra 4T for 12 bucks. Why the hell would we need fully synthetic for YBR? I just feel that fully may actually be bad for the bike because it may be too thin after bike has fully warmed up. I tried mineral before, it feels so sludgy and thick, especially when changing gear.

I change my EO about 1000km or 1 month, whichever comes first and my spark plug every second oil change.

 

But to tell you the truth, i dont really bother to change my EO once a month. I tend to wait till 1000km then i change. But i feel that it is a bad thing because if i manage to clock 1k in a month, the old EO is dirty. But if never clock 1K but a month plus, the EO is also dirty. Can feel the difference. But i try to change once a month.I ever waited 2 months then change. The feeling really cannot make it. The gear like very hard to change and the "feeling" of the bike is not smooth.

Wah..every 1k change engine oil.. I change my engine oil semi syn every 2.5k.

You cannot feel the difference meh? After one month or 1k, i feel that my gear change is rough. Then in the morning, the engine sound gets more different. Really up to you la. I just feel that my oil easily dirty. I remember 1 and a half months i never change, my mech scolded me. Then i see my EO super black and got some visible particles stuck on the walls when i moved the oil pan around. Up to you how often you wanna change seriously.

If the engine of your bike is really rough then i would suggest you do the engine flush when the next time you change your engine oil. This is to get rid of the gums and dirty particles that stick to your cylinder wall.Then when you change engine oil you will feel the full benefit of it.

What is this "Engine Flush" which you speak of?

 

Because i intend to actually use mineral this month to clean my engine, then next month try fully synthetic. Can also?

Bro... Really up to you la... For me, i change frequently because it is my preference. I just feel that my bike is different if never change. That's all. The feeling bro. The feeling.

I can pushed my key downwards but i cant turn my key after which. What could be the problem?

Weather too cold.... the locking mechanism harder to move... got to jimmy the key in the lock abit then can turn.

Front is 280? So much? The manual say standard is 175kpa front and 230kpa back. 280kpa back if rider and ascessories more than 90kg. For me i normally pump 180kpa and 250kpa. But now i trying 280kpa, the handling not as good but can "feel" that the ride is faster. Just that every bump you can really feel. Braking also not as good. If my rear is 250kpa and below, can feel that the handling is sluggish but cornering is more stable.

 

So now i trying 180kpa and 280kpa. If wanna corner, not as good as before.

 

Anyway Roid, YBR performance mod for what sia? The bike cannot do anything. Just cosmetic mods only. Our bike already so SLOW and UNDERPOWERED. So heavy some more. Want to brake also so difficult. I am just happy that my bike gives me a constant 38km/l-41km/l, everyday can start and very reliable.

 

Oh also regarding the engine oil change, like i say before, every YBR is different. Depends on your preference and how you ride. You know my YBR CANNOT reach 8k rpm on normal riding. At 100km/h, my YBR cannot touch 8k rpm at all!

 

Same goes when i gear change. At gear 1, i will change at 3k-3.5k rpm. The other gears all change at 4.5k+/- rpm. I remember my CDC handbook last time i learn 2B, i think they got say inside. "The rider must be one with the machine." or "the machine is the extension of the rider". I thought it was a load of bull until i went on the bike for the first time. You got to know your bike. I dont know about others but for me, when i drive, i feel that i am controlling the machine. But when i ride, the machine and i are one.

 

I never regretted getting my YBR, even though it is darn right SLOW. TP/ROV dont even bother looking at you. The only thing i dont like about it is its ugly head. Like some alien baby head with sting ray ears for signal lights.
