my bike recently go about 20m then die off. it happens after i start it up and move off from the carpark. after that it cannot start up, like no fuel. then i put the choke very hi and start, then it goes, but opening throttle like no power n dieing off. after a while of reving, then it returns to normal. my tank at that time got more than 1/2 tank of fuel.

usually when starting up, esp in the morning, i hard rev it, it feels like dieing off type. after a while of reving, it will go back to normal. if i dont rev enough, during initial riding will jerk, like when u suddenly pull back clutch n release suddenly.

i've asked my mechanic but he seems to have no idea whats wrong. i had supected something might be jammed. anybody got encounter this problem b4? any workshop or mechanic familiar with this?

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

ur idling low? can check ur carb too. IMO

even if idling low, the engine will run smooth, mine is like out of fuel or jammed type. like vroom...vroom..vroom..., normal sound is vroommmmmmmmm, 1 smooth sound.

my mechanic had washed my carb last mth, n done a full check, all leaks was retified.

try warming up your bike for 5mins, then try again.

dont rev to let it be normal. cos engine still cold. not good for engine.

learn some patience, let the bike warm up.

5min? i usually idle for 1+min. i'm not worried about usual days when it's still able to run properly. it's those days that it died off...

your symptom is water in fuel.

remove fuel tank n pour every drop of fuel into a container.

water is heavy n will sink to the bottom.

pour 95% of fuel back into tank n throw away bottom 5%.

drain your carb dry (by loosening the drain screw).

fuel in the carburetor bowl.

actually i think ts problem is not uncommon. when i used to ride my sP, whether is it afternoon or morning after a long period of not running, gotta pull choke to start.

however i pull for abt 30 sec, den i'll turn off. total time warming abt 2mins, then i'l start riding slowly. of course i wouldnt rev it hard, till abt after 1-2km then i'll go abit higher rpm..... but still not red lining of course..

i noe and seen pple rev hard on the spot during warm up which i feel isnt good for the engine... but to each his owwn... yep.

It is not how hard you fall, its how fast you get up.

my idling is set to 1.1-1.2, so at start if it's below 1, i pull choke to 1.5-2 n let it run for 1+min.

if the starting is 0.9-1, i'll just leave it for 1+min without choke.
