Where to get VTEC INDICATOR?

where to get the small black box to contain the led?

Hey guys my bike got the indicator since i bought..the prob is the water had sipped into the black box then now the LED rusty and broken..any idea where to buy the LED(single bulb) i just need to solder back n apply silicon thingy to make it water proof. And yeah theres a resistor inside the blck box (multi colored resistor like peanuts like that)...

 

Shud be able to work again with new LED bulb

very easy...u go sim lim show them the led many places in sim lim got sell...2-5bucks the most ard there...resistor use 220ohm ones....just buy one more resistor in case your resistor gone already cuz resisitor is dirt cheap ranging from cents only

den do a plastic cap and transparent V-tec wording with super bright led behind den vtec on and boom!!!

 

last time vtec indicator small voltmeter big...nowmy trend is the opposite cuz vtec more important than voltage haha

haha got cover black stivkerla den only the vtecwordis transparent when vtec on den the vtec word will shine la not very scary la,,,led canchoose diff quality one ma some bright but not glaring

pics of wat i've done to my vtec indicator..i put green as my vtec, blue as my headlight & red for my side stand indicator..

 

the last pic is the location of the vtec solenoid..the grey connector.

 

All the materials can b found at Sim Lim tower.

 

The shop at b1 at the corner sells everything u need..LED wif resistor,wires,box, heat shrink cover..

 

cut & file the box so tat the led can fit..get some hot glue sticks as well..once done, can cut a small piece of tinted plastic to cover the top part to cut down the glare frm the LED when vtec is activated..else ur eyes will b blinded by the light & will cause danger to urself as u can't c the road ahead properly..

connector really is easy one...more tedious is of taking out the fuel tank...mostly is how pretty u want your vtec indicator to be like
