Hi guys, just a question about engine oil change... is semi/fully syn engine oil suitable for such a old bike like cbr400? or do you guys use mineral all the way?

well for old bikes best is don't use any syn engine oil. I'm using 20w-50w and engine is more quit. This Baby Blade group like going to die soon as not much rider riding it. But glad that there's still some rider like me still keeping it..... :-)

yo guys. CBR400 rider over here - 1993 version.

Anyone knows where to get a replacement for the front signal light? I don't mind second hand one also.

Somehow, one of my front signal light case got busted, leaving the wire+bulb (still working and flashing well) hanging there.

Could someone please help me out?

hi guys, anyone had experience with fitting CBR600 radiator and fan onto CBR400? which model will work, and what needs to be changed to the 600's radiator(if any)? cooling's a ***** on my 400 and it doesn't help that parts are all out... :/

Hey guys, CBR400 is one of the bikes I shortlisted to get. Just wanna check how much you guys spend on changing the parts and the usual maintenance? Heard that for old bike maintenance can be quite costly?

Anyone knows where can I get new or used good condition full wire harness for N model?

If you think you got it, then get it.

Hey guys, I'm releasing my 98 CBR400 for sale as I'll be starting a family soon.

It's been well taken care but I haven't had the chance to ride it as much as I should have.

COE until Jan 18, has a yoshi pipe with cert.

Always kept until shelter and regularly serviced. Last servicing just recently performed, and tyres are still fresh.

Will let go cheap to fast dealers.

Message me at 97903271 for a quick deal.

Pictures as attached!

Thanks!

I had a CBR150, then someone rammed into it while it was parked. It had to be scrapped...so I'm stuck without a bike now. Anyone knows of any available bike for sale? I'm looking for a temporary bike till April/May, by that time I should finish my 2A. =/ Sucks to not have my CBR150, it was fun man.

Hi everyone, just got my babyblade RRR model not long ago and loving every moment of it!

But I have some concerns that I need to address to and hope someone here is able to help me out.

01) My LEFT stator cover/crankcase cover (not sure whats the exact name but its the round part which the fairing doesnt cover up) is leaking oil which drips on the floor everyday. Not much, but it leaks. From the looks of it, previous owner had an acciddent, skidded and scrapped the bike on the left and used some "plastic cement" to patch up something.

The RIGHT side cover (not sure whats the exact name but its the round part which the fairing doesnt cover up) seems to be leaking oil but not as bad. Doesnt leak on the floor. Stays within the cover area.

Was quoted by C**** Aik $128 with gasket for a REVO stator/crankcase cover and they said its a direct fit for my CBR. Was wondering if this is true? and if possible where can I get a cheaper alternative for replacement?

My question is, should I even buy the part from C**** Aik or should I go straight to a workshop and get it sorted out? In you guys experience, what could it be?

02) My FRONT headlights only works in highbeam. Sometimes it flickers on and off. Wiring problems I suppose? And how must is it gonna cost me?

03) Where's the best place in singapore to service our babyblades? For full servicing, spare parts availability and good prices? Any workshop in the east to recommend? A workshop that knows our bikes best.

I dont wanna spend a bomb on this bike as it has nearly 3 years left of COE which is non-renewable. But I want to spend this 3 years with this bike with the interest of safely, good experience and fun!

I understand that there are not many babyblade riders here anymore, really hope someone can guide me on this, thanks in advance :)

Hi Bros/Sis, just a quick update..

01) Manage to DIY. Learnt alot about the bike and to be honest, I had fun DIY-ing!

Anyways managed to scout around and got the best deal for my left stator cover at F*T. $96 with gasket. What I did was drained engine oil, file off the part of "plastic cement" that was blocking the bolting area, replaced with brand new cover and gasket. Bought some cheap mineral oil from shell to tahan for a few days before I service my bike in a few days time. Tools all can buy from mustafa. No more leaking at all! Yay!

Word of advice, take before and after photos so you know which part goes where. Had some "challenges" putting the cover back..lol..

02 & 03) Was recommended by some bros on the road to either go to B***W***s or P****t M****s for servicing etc. Good prices and solid work. Added that they know what they're doing.

Hope to hear and see more babyblade riders out there..come on..dont be shy.. its free to say hello.. :)

Singapore one is original honda and brand new, super expensive. One tiny piece is 100+ 1 side already 500+

Or you can buy made in china one, whole set 700+

I have no sense of direction, am a slow rider and always lost. >.<"

New rider in Singapore but proud recent of a 92 CBR400RR-L!

As these bikes are getting older, I assume there will be less and less of them around. Anybody here still riding their BabyBlades around? Would be nice to get to meet a few of you.

Just picked up a CBR400RR last week and will need to bring her to get some basic maintenance stuff done along with getting my speedo looked at.
