I've changed my bulbs before and its 2 x t10 bigger sized ones and 2x t5 smaller sized one..

 

Speedo side got 1x t10 + 1xt5

Tachometer 1x t10 + 1xt5 which is shared with the temp meter.

 

my speedo bulb also blow off that day when go pekan nanas....haha

July2004 - dec2007 ->NSR150SP (FU**29B)

April2008 - April2010 ->CBR400RRR (FP**86R)

April2010 - April 2011 ->SYM GTS200(FBB**09U)

April2011 - Currently ->S4SPEC1(FT**56J)

Sorry, I have been reading the older post here, page 100+ i think, someone says the meter using 5 T5 bulbs. :confused:

 

Anyone DIY and change b4 for NC29?

Maybe can consider change to LED type less likely to blow.. but note that if u buy LED must get those multi direction ones instead of the single direction LED light. ( Those LED bulb which has like 4 to 5 bulbts inside to produce light in multiple directions )

lolx. PPl selling bike always say overhaul before. Anyway... Must show 'em the receipt i think. But if ppl really wanna buy. They will buy it around a standard price. Coz cheaper than the shop. If they wanna overhaul.. they will do it themselves. New bike new feelings ma. lolx

CBR ALWAYS got coolent problem. Mine fixed at Hua Chin... And its still a hot bike. Changed whatever f*** inside. My meter still love to go sky high.

Am so afraid to hit 150km/h over a period of time.... Later it becomes a bomb!

I wonder why ppl so crazy into buying old class 2A bikes. If able, faster get a class 2... At least their 2nd hand not that old.

If u get an old bike... Everytime they cough... it will cost u money. And u have no idea when certain scews will corrode and the wheel comes spinning out. Ops! Must practise wheeling already. Both front and back. hahaha...

bro cannot like that sae la.. lol.. back den when u get ur 2B people also tell u dun get SP or KR.. waste money.. these 2A bikes are no longer in production liao.. also some people wanna a progressive increase in CC.. not a sudden jump from 200cc to 600cc.. get wad i trying to say?? each as their own preference la.. :)

You want to have a cooler CBR, do the following..

 

1) Go fabricate those aluminum radiator

2) Get Samco silicon radiator hose and clip kit

3) Get a new radiator fan

4) Get a new radiator fan switch

5) Get a new thermostat and it's cover

6) Get a new water pump

7) Get a new radiator cap

8) Top up with Maxima Coolaide

 

Confirm it will be the coolest running CBR in singapore. At the most you only need to change coolant every 2yrs after that. :cheeky:

 

But seriously dude if your bike is running too hot, best to get it check, rather overheat you have some engine problem and you have to fork out more money.:faint:

 

Normal temp should be 1/4 when riding, 1/2 if idle in Traffic Jam too long (By then the Fan will come on lioz), 3/4 if you in super jam and it's a really hot day.

Hi Kelvin.

Yup... Our bike fuse and their electrical threshold just can't support white light for long usuage(even without using it but just installing).

If just install.. it'll take a week or longer to destablised your electrical system.

 

To solve it, simply replace it with Oridinary Light ... And all the switch and light will function well again within a week or two(No immediately recovery).

Even those mechanics at Hua Chin didn't know of such issue or how to remedy it. They will simply ask u to change this or that.

 

If fan not working... U better pray that its got to do with the wiring.. If not, then u could replace the fan with a second hand super4 fan at around SGD90.00.

 

oh isit? then see when i free. i change it back to original.

 

~~~actually i've been through all the issues le.

Electric problem, Fan problem, Radiator problem, pump problem, host problem... ~faint.~faint ~faint.

 

Just dun go Hua Chin to do your bike. If u go there to do... Even bigger problem.

last time my KR everytime spoil i go there do. everytime kenna chop. lol

Go to CMO, there are a few guys selling it. I got mine from M400. Now my polelight much brighter, I'm going to get for meter next.

Hi, you mentioned that you bought the LED rite? You fit for meter too? What color you buy ah? Coz now normal orange light is being seen as red, if put white will it be white or turn to some other weird color? :cheeky:

since it's red.. i buy red.. haha nv try before the combination. the normal is orange is because orange the shine range is wider. (that's what i think)

Agreed.. mine kinda weird though.. 1/4 normal ride but after a while will hit 45% of the meter. then no matter wat kinda jam i'm in or how fast i riding still at 45% lol. dunno issit needle spoil cannot go up :cheeky:
