Thanks. Any1 here changed their meter bulbs to LED? Heard it wun make much difference. But knowing the CBR's electrical issues, I guess it's better to use LED to save that few Watts. :cheeky:

 

i'm using led. so far no issue. i'm not sure about the difference. but from orange to red colour is indeed brighter.

I think LED do make some difference. Coz they seem really BRIGHTER. I changed half/half... so i could actually notice the colour contrast.

Though i have no idea that they save electricity.

 

Anyway changed it at Hua Chin... so most likely gotten pay more than usual. lolx.

 

As for the Front/headlight Bulb... Better not use White Light. Coz after doing such... All my lights goes haywire and stop working. High Beam gone, no tapping of light. ~Faint.

LOL...agree on the coolant issues....just changed my whole radiator due to the old one had a hole cause of wear and tear......

 

btw....fx when u wan see the radiator???dun wan keep in my room too long...

Hi Kelvin.

Yup... Our bike fuse and their electrical threshold just can't support white light for long usuage(even without using it but just installing).

If just install.. it'll take a week or longer to destablised your electrical system.

 

To solve it, simply replace it with Oridinary Light ... And all the switch and light will function well again within a week or two(No immediately recovery).

Even those mechanics at Hua Chin didn't know of such issue or how to remedy it. They will simply ask u to change this or that.

 

If fan not working... U better pray that its got to do with the wiring.. If not, then u could replace the fan with a second hand super4 fan at around SGD90.00.

Most prob your fan switch spoil, the switch is located at the left hand side of your radiator, take out the wire (when the bike is not HOT and not running) and let the wire touch a metal clip right next to the switch, if your fan is working this will make your fan turn on. So must be switch problem, if still the fan nv turn on, then its your fan spoil lioz. Of coz must turn ignition to on when trying this.

den start to get used to catching up to us....riding slow is alright...but not too slow....i believe now u see the nshw speed is totally different from sg highway liao...

 

hmmm...u guyz go until the old petrol station there...haha....i miss the pump there....very good got the minor press den slowly top...

 

no need wait for me de...if i cannot make it i will plan my own timing de like that day durian trip i also said no need wait if too late....last night i in the end also go in for petrol after work...but is the timing u guyz exit...no traffic at all going in but come out jam abit on singapore side cause only one counter open :(:(:(

I've changed my bulbs before and its 2 x t10 bigger sized ones and 2x t5 smaller sized one..

 

Speedo side got 1x t10 + 1xt5

Tachometer 1x t10 + 1xt5 which is shared with the temp meter.

The RR on my Fireblade represents "Race Replica"
