Depends on which part you spray onto. Just remember its a degreaser as well, so dun spray into places that needs grease to work (bearings/chains/etc).

 

Other than that, there's this old saying that you can fix all mechanical defects with just WD40 and duct-tape. "Whatever that is supposed to move but cannot move, spray WD40. Whatever that is not supposed to move but moves, wrap with duct-tape."

 

Don't do that to your bike though.

 

I dun really like WD40, I prefer GT85.

I use it to clean my chain. It leaves a coat of PTFE (Teflon) also.

My bike got a small problem. Usually I start once can start already, now must start 2-3 times then can start but sometimes one time can start. I checked the electrical system all ok. Charging all ok. Could it be the carbon in the starter motor?

 

I nv change it ever since I got my bike, which is about 3 and half years ago also dunno previous owner got change.

 

How much to change the brush assembly in SG and JB ah?

 

Btw the RM really drop alot. Imagine valve clearance RM190 is only SGD72..

If you dun believe me, just go buy one bottle and try to clean your chain with it.

Warning: Once you see how clean your chain is after using it, you will spray and spray till the whole bottle finish!

mostly is cold bike easy to start and hot need cranking more abit:)

The starter motor speed is the same. Actually today I went about 3-4 places, it when going from one place to another that this happen and the engine was quite hot. Later when I go out my bike should be cold lioz, let me try again. Thanks bro.

frm my knowledge, it is because our carburator old liao.. last time my blade when it is cold, just crank 1 second will start liao.. after tat when engine hot liao.. need to crank very long to start, but if u throttle abit, still can start easily..

plz try it at ur own risk on singapore road.. can try and clear ur meter at 2nd link.. recommended in the day time wif proper safety gears on.. i clearerd till nippon seiki there.. but feel my bike still can go up.. however no more route liao.. all jam wif cars..

yea..Aalex is right.. not necessary is ur cone bearing.. last month i had the same problem also.. thought is my cone bearing spoiled.. but turn out is my front bearing spoil liao (due to rusty because of water entering).. better go check it out if its ur front bearing spoil(around $45++ only).. if not when the front bearing really gone-case, ur brake dise will bend.. and good luck to u.. plz correct me if im wrong..

 

serivicing of fork is just changing ur fork oil and if need be ur oil seals as well.. u must ask the shop how much is their fork oil and prices of it lor.. i changed mine a few months back to PJ1 fork oil.. not bad.. handling improved a lot.. changing fork oil doesn't mean oil seals need to change also.. but it is better to cahgne together la..

Hmmm... But I washed my carbs and changed all the carb inlet rubbers... Anyway just now when I went out, can start 1st time. Maybe you guys are right.
