yeah... if u really take care of the bike, babyblade is indeed a very nice ride.. :) in terms of top speed and handling, wow.. im indeed satisfied wif my "xiao Bai" kinda miss her though.. haiz.. vin82.. when u gonna let go ur blade and upgrade?? i think u are the ultimate laojiao here liao.. :)

Haven't tried the top yet... the engine sounds abit strange, will probably get it checked and rechecked by a few different mechs before i decide whether it is safe to go on without another overhaul. And until i know for sure the engine can take abuse, i won't be clearing the meter. Play safe... play safe... must sayang the bike first.

 

The handling wise.... handles almost as well as my old RS125 Extrema, which is rather surprising given its power/weight difference (or perhaps accumulated experience made it seems easy). Especially after 8 years of 2 stroke cruiser, the improvements is massive. Still, need so much more practice with it before i am confident enough to feel that its an extension of my limbs. I'm almost spending all available time riding it around getting to know my baby better... almost two full tanks for the past 3 days already. :cheeky:

yeah.. heard kianleong is selling his vtr wif scorpion exhausts.. ive been to P.Gudang wif the VTr group.. 745 went wif his SP1 also.. :) there's a VTR SP1 in New Southern going for $9.5k(wif COE renew) FS plate.. abit ex though in my opinion for a stock bike..

Even if I just ride this baby for one year, it is worth going through every little details and making sure everything runs as perfectly as possible. Not to mention if i intend to stick with it longer.

 

I just love the way this baby purrs and growls. It's not a perfect machine, not yet, but it's mine. :lovestruck:

Anyway... my bike problem still ain't solved. After changing the fan, it became such le. The reponse sucks and feel like my bike weights 500kg.(Am like pillioning Ghost and its not even 7th month) Hiaz... Gave three different mechanics to check, and all said nothing wrong.

 

Yesterday, went to Hua Chin around 9pm and the boss Ah Koon tried it.. Found out that the electrical flow was causing it.(i've expected all along)

 

Quote me SGD 400.00 to change a 2nd fan that is suitable and also to solve the electrical issue. Surely mark-up like s h i t de. lolx.

 

I called New Southern senior mechanic (Ah Huat) a minute ago and told him about the problem that his guys can't solve and that the boss of Hua Chin found out the problem. And that it happened only after the fan issue at New Southern.

 

So most probably .. he'll get the fan repaced to a suitable one with suitable plugs wirings and recheck all my wiring for a "token fee" .. I bugeted around SGD 200.:thumb::thumb::thumb:

~~~anyway, not that i wanna go Hua Chin and get conn. Just that my time schedule is really tight. And my customer floods me nearing Sat, so Sat also burnt de.

Last Sat .. went to New Southern at Alexandra and ended up didn't go to work. Many of my shipments kanna penalty charges...

Customer Malaysian.. So she just floods me and becomes mia on the weekend coz goes back to Malaysia. ~faint. wtf... And the seafreight shpt here like Airfreight. Today come.. today give notices.:dozed:

I really dun think it's the fan that is the problem for you. You're probably gonna waste more money. If you look at the wiring diagram for the fireblade, the fan is connected to the fan fuse and the fan switch. Nothing to do with your RPM issue. Maybe it's the harness issue. If you really wanna spend $200 might as well top up abit more and change the harness.:cheeky:

hey bro wanna ask hw u make the bodyframe and swing arm shiny? mine is the normal body frame. tried waxing it but it looks the same. use the metal polish also no diff as its not a chrome metal? hmm sori for a noob qn.
