wah rare guest... the last time i saw u was at yishun dam when i organised a cbr outing late last year.. :p hsehui riding rvf now.. his rvf same as cbr.. pointed tail.. kian leong and 745 riding vtr now.. :p the rest i think disappear liao.. :)

hi bros, juz need to ask your opinion(s). juz finished paying for my current bike, a Yamaha X1, and interested to upgrade to either a CBR 400 or a RVF. Just need to clear some doubts before making such a decision.

 

1) Which bike is easier to maintain?

2) Which is a better ride in terms of posture (for both rider and pillion)?

3) Speed, in terms of pickup and top speed

 

I've viewed 2 bikes at Southern Motor earlier. One's a FQ RVF, COE till 2018. Looks pretty much stock, and going for abt 7k and a bit on the road. The other's a FN CBR 400, didn't get which series but going for abt 4k. COE is till 2016 But salesman mentioned no power cut n such. What i can see is a Yoshi pipe. I'm pretty new to all this, and unsure abt what series and such. Just an interest in racers. Both engine condition untested, so not too sure.

 

So, would appreciate any comments/feedback on the bikes above and the shop even.

rvf ex to maintain and is more ex,cbr cheaper to maintain and is cheaper.posture think u need to try,diff ppl diff feeling.top speed cbr,while rvf pick up.tats wat i knw.think everyone here can tell u bah

Mostly the same, only the spark plug expensive a bit.

 

 

2) Which is a better ride in terms of posture (for both rider and pillion)?

for 2A Honda Sportsbike, the prefer NC29 for both,

NC35, ride will suffer a bit.

 

3) Speed, in terms of pickup and top speed.

just nice for NC35(RVF) using in Singapore.:thumb:
