I used to service it by mileage.

Every 4500 - 5000km.

For me it runs best with AGIP Fully syn 10w40 EO, Normal plugs and of course HiFlo OilFilter.

And also check out my coolant level.

Airfilter and Carb do it every 6mths or 1year should nt a problem.

Dont forget to upgrade to steel braided brakehose and bleed them when they get spongy!

I think 5 Secs can la. Depends on bike and sprocket setup also. :D

anybody knows which model got powercut ?

how to restore the power ?

from my reading of the previous post, i know some model got power cut at cdi, and some power cut on meter which can be bypassed easily just by cutting off one of the wire. not too sure which one to cut. I think L model no power cut. Power cut not that big issue, easily bypassed. : )

hi fello babybladers. need to ask something noob cause I don't really know much about bikes. I realized my radiator fluid and coolant have dried up (last top up was sometime in May/June last yr). Shouldn't have dried up so fast right? And is it alright if I pour water into the radiator for now first?

it is becos after i bought the bike then i got to know bout powercut from frens.

so do i have to go 190 to know that my bike no powercut ?

http://www.motoworld.com.sg/detail.php?pid=1118

motoworld sells redrev which lets you bypass the powercut, they list it for RVF and S4 but im pretty sure they have one for CBR400... this will allow you to go pass 190 provided your engine is healthy and you have put $$ on your mods....

Cheap + fast = no good

Cheap + good = not fast

Good + fast = not cheap

Layup you can go down LTA to fill up form.

Can layup up to 3years but yearly must ''renew''.

It cost about 5 - 6 bucks to get it done.

Can get back the roadtax refund from them even though most of the time its quite little.

And of course can refund your insurance from your respective policy provider.

Battery for CBR4 at our usual place is 60 - 65, YUASA. Compared cheap to other shops.

Yep!

But downside of laying up is when you wanna make the bike on the road again gotta go inspection.

You laying up your CBR4?

oh dear.... but i guess it's still better than buying the roadtax but park at the carpark.

i not laying up my blade. i got a friend migrating soon and wanna sell her blade off. meanwhile another friend of mine is waiting for tp. so tot of buying the bike and put as layup first.
