guys..does any1 know where can I repair the trip meter on the headunit. mines always stuck at 009...bt my odo still functions

hmm i heard from someone saying the tuning is 80.

 

$20 for each carburretor, so multiply that by 4 and u have the tuning/serving amount... havent counted in parts that might have to be changed though...

Cheap + fast = no good

Cheap + good = not fast

Good + fast = not cheap

ya cbr got 4 carb. i was thinking of doing valve clearance, but not sure how does it benefit my bike. any oldbird can advise ?

depend on your valve condition ,if your valve still at good condition wont leak when compression....if leak=lose power=FC hight

maybe my bike got leak .

the mechanic chk that the engine oil is drying up.

bike also lack of power n fc high .

bike still at shop under repair.

i think they saying about petrol leak. cos they said FC high. so should not be anything with EO ba.

btw wat EO you using?

they are talking abt the valves in the engine..

if there is a leak, there will be lose of power.. the rider will then throttle more than the normal rate to get the same power.

as for the leak of eo, will be piston ring and this oso affected the power..

how to chk for leak ?

i dont find any traces of oil bike under after parking overnight.

got white smoke come out from exhaust?

 

leak eo does not mean leak out on the grd as jeffyee mentioned. the eo may leak to the combustion chamber and burn away. result will be white smoke.

check the eo colour when u change eo. milky colour mean gasket gone/eo leak. look for oily stain/dirt on the engine exterior.

look at the spark plug area for eo traces.
