also i wan to ask from u guys...our bike on the right side got one coolent...my mech told me it's ok to leave it empty...is it true? wht kind of coolent u all use? pls share...tks..

u mean e resevor for coolant? the white plastic box? anyway its advisable to pour half filled with coolant water.. just in case ??:cheeky:

as for the engine oil, fully syn means the oil content is 100% syn.. which oso can mean multi-grade.. can hold a certain visocity even at high temp.. semi-syn will means mineral oils added wif syn oil.. oso is mutli-graded.. mineral oil is mono graded.. where the visocity will drop rather fast at high temp.. there is saying that cos is old bike, the piston ring will wear out alittle.. will not set fully in the block.. that y the bursting from the combustion will cos fuel dilute of the engine oil.. u can nv find a fully syn wif 20W50.. which is a heavier flow/"thicker"..

as long as met the ron standard, the engine will not get more power from higher octane fuels. the engine is already operating at optimum settings. but for cbr though the min is ron 91, at least use ron 95 to prevent knocking and also petrol station rons standard might not be accurate. especially msia petrol. xxW50 eo will be fine. the numbers b4 W is useless in sg.

it is not ok to be empty. i use maxima coolant.

top up with maxima coolant to prevent rust. water alone is gd for reducing heat but will cause rust. u wan rust or slightly cool. u pick urself.

I think if i not wrong both are fully but 7100 has ester based.

hi guys, my cbr r model have a problem. when i riding about 70km i accelerate the bike is pull back. i send to svc carburator & tuning at ubi & yishun motor shop. the problem still same?

Wah.... Cheem sia ur problem, nv heard anyone experiencing that b4....

 

Care to elaborate? Like which gear? How often it happens? Pull back all the way or awhile oni?

Hi guys...

 

Recently i encounter a problem with my bike... When i open my throttle... there will be black smoke coming out from my exshust... Anyone got this problem before....? Whats wrong with my ride and what i can do to solve it....? :cry:

hi there, this bike does not exist in Singapore for reasons unknown, so I don't think anyone would know its details.

 

in fact i am very surprised it exists in Malaysia, must be very rare.

 

you may want to go to Australian bike forums, or the JDM CBR forum as this bike is popular in Australia.

u got a rich fuel mixture. check ur air filter, choke, jets and carb.

in sg, sound fast look fast is enough. run fast fine fast die fast.

my fren fj plate yesterday he told me his gt too but his header gt hole.. than gt xtra sound. think u shhould go n check =]

i think la is the voltage pull back, i gt volt meter when i open trottle suddenly my volt will pull back than normal again.. my mech said u mus do something wif the charger but mus pay than i dunwan do lol

I've changed a new air filter and service my carb recently... so what else can be the problem....? btw... wat is jets...? Sorry... I'm still very new to my ride...:cheeky:

oya...just asked my bike shop we can renew our coe 2 times...so my 17yrs old bike can go on for another 13yrs which is 2020...maybe can pass my son ride...heehee
