Before i wash carb. Then aft wash carb a day later the idling was poor. Same. This roughidling caused my FC to go up. Im using Jb fuel now. Was using spore fuel for more than 9 mths... Now jus changed since Jan.

 

U may try inspect yr fuel filter. Does the problem occur after u start pumping jb petrol? Cos their petrol isn't that clean as i doubt they got wash the underground tank or change the filter of the nozzler. Even new bikes wif dual or three injectors like k6 and k7 experience this problem due to smaller clearance in their injectors. U can oso check the spark plug coil.

Like i say hv to c the wiring 1st then can do if not done..quite abit of job..aftermarket CDI same as std only cheaper..HRC CDI dun tink u can afford at 700 at least.U wont feel the diff unless u dyno..ask Tronican he is the only 1 who hv the HRC CDI bsides me in Sg haha

HRC CDI You dyno before and after installing the CDI then you will know that it really makes the diff. Of course when you ride you will know.

I just Dynoed for personal satisfaction.

And how do u know tt ur bike alrdy had the powercut remove. I tried my bike, push her to the limit. Her RPM meter reading 13k. I can't see the speedo becoz the previous owner change the meter face. I would like to change my rear suspension too. Coz i pillion ppl everyday. So i think the rear suspension oso gone case liao. Lastly, how do u guys stiffen the front fork. Mine is way too soft. thanks.

HRC CDi no longer available here. But removing the speed restriction is your concern then is not an issue. A bike 10 yrs old i strongly believe your previous owners would have removed the restriction. meaning your blade can reach its true potential of above 180km/h.That's all.The restriction is in the speedo and is linked to the stock CDI.

Ppl mistake it thinking Removing Speed restriction would give additional Horsepower! Thats not true.

Try as advised 1st if still not get put the A/F mixture screw change all the o rings and sen 2 3/4 turns or as reccomended.Make sure u balance ur carbs.Everytime u do this MUST change A/F screw o rings

**** man i think my bike starting to have problems. first was the water pump. now suddenly cannot start. it happened last week then today it became worse. i can ride the whole day without problem then suddenly i park my bike for awhile, off the bike then when i turn on i press the electric start nothing happen. no sound no nothing and the headlight also gone. but then the horn no problem at all. i jump started my bike then aft i ride for awhile everything back to normal. i on off the bikes a few times also can start smoothly. last week this happened but then after tt ok already. but today it happened 3 times. anyone can help me identify the problem? if its the battery then the horn should be out too right? my friend said it might be the starter coil. anyone knows how much the starter coil costs and where to get it cheap? wah i hope no other problem will come. thanks in advance everyone for the help.

Bro, it might be the fuse. Coz it happen to my bike before. Before the fuse is completely fused, it will show some symptons like wat u are expriencing now. And the reason y i ask u to check ur fuse becoz it is the cheapest and easiest way. Even if it doesn't solve the prob, you wun feel so heart pain over a few cents. Dun be surprised how a cheap fuse can cause a major prob to our bike especially OUR bike, CBR400. Coz our bike depends a lot on electricity. A weak batt can cause our bike to under perform like mad.

Hmmz, i understand tt by removing the powercut it wun improve our HP. But i juz need to know by derestricting our bike, wat is the max rpm it can hit. Or a restricted CBR, wat is the max rpm it can hit. Btw, i dun look at speedo, coz i feel tt it is inaccurate, i prefer looking at rpm.

saw the suspension today , he manage to get the suspension fast. so i put my bike today at the shop and will be ready by tomorrow. i will be collecting it after my work bout 7pm. i aslo send my rear rim for pressing back to normal shape. its a bit bent at the left side so air slowly leaking out in 2 day time.

rim pressing cost $95.

 

if not sure bout the shop area you can call the owner, a very cool type.

any way guys.. my fuel consumtion is very high i guess. i did not even drag my bike because my bike is bouncy (worn out rear suspension). but i only get bout 170+ when i hit reserv from full tank.
