Around 10 years ago, I saw a red LHD mustang with diplomat plate in singapore. plate no 1991.

 

There is a blue LHD mustang in KL. Indian guy driving, took a photo of it 2 months ago, but dunnoe how to upload here.

really curious if a wrx can smoke a mustang. am in aussie right now, got smoked big time by a mustang cobra.

my ride is a skyline gtt. any old birds like trottle care to give an input? i know u have driven overseas, def have some exp

 

 

 

Any car can smoke any car, just depends on how much mods are done.

for clean comparisons, just have to compare factory paper specs.

in terms of horses and torque the Mustang being so big cc will have more ponis and higher torque but i dont know what that translates to on the roads.

i would presume the wrx cannot smoke the mustang cobra.

 

anyway, I have little experience with American cars other than having sat in a Pontiac firebird in LA when i was 7 yrs old and being chaffeured in a 1960s chrysler cadillac in Cuba.

sorry to disappoint but a mustang will nv cost the same as a 6 series in singapore

yea unbelievable on sight, its really huge. whilst in my car looking out from the window, i can only see the door, need to lift up my head to see the driver. the photo does the car no justice in terms of size. gotta catch it first hand, quite mind blowing for me, at least

i wouldnt have difficulty agreeing with ya. with that kind of bhp and displacement and a 8 cylinders engine, the supercharger becomes a lil redundant, its also my presumption that a wrx in stock condition will not be able to keep up with a mustang in terms of pickup, but those in japan or the states with like 800 900 hp probably would be able to do so but not on a long distance run. 2.5 litres on 900hp will blow the engine i guess compared to a 5.4litre engine which is supercharged. judging by what i have seen so far, i think its safe to say that imports will never beat muscles in a sprint cleanly.

i used a simply ratio comparison over here in aussie to singapore, judging by the price of the machine itself, a brand new shelby will cost me AUD400-500 ks as compared to a 6. Then again, its always debatable, i highly doubt it will appear in singapore, somethings in singapore, moeny cant buy. yet someone might prove me wrong
