Using wet or dry?

If dry, install a voltmeter.

Wet wise, just ensure the level is above the minimum level.

hmm, travel distance hard to say, from my place to my school roughly *18k so total distance is *36k(expressway speed will be around 90-100 sometime 110). will also go rounding and slack around with friends, now i having school holiday so my full tank 200k can last me for 4-5days.rpm will be roughly *6-7-8 in expressway? normal road around *4-5-6? i not very sure about rpm.  all is without switching neon. i hardly switch on nowadays.

Last time there was one user call bear that installed neon light for his M too. I cannot remember whether its battery operating from another seperate terminal or same. I believe is different terminal. But he did not have such experience.

To narrow down the problem, get your voltmeter fixed.

TZM brudders. need help. my tzm is down. i was riding on ECP then i heard a noisy knocking sound under the tank area. TrAnG - TrUnG- TraNG- TruNg worst still when i dropped gear it was noiser. Saddest part is now cannot start...likely scenario: 1)block scratched. 2) piston sure need to change if block changed. 3)conrod needs to be change. 4) al the other miscellaneous stuff like the rings and all that engine accessories crap la. TWO WORDS: Major Overhaul.

Now i need your help brudders. Recommend me a really good bike repair workshop for overhaul, engine servicing and tuning. Im living in the east, so be nice with the location too, if possible. What do you think if i went to either the Yamaha Service Centre at Paya Lebar or Atan Motor at Ubi in mind to repair?

Any way to tow my bike to JB?

Many many thanks in advance for the replies.

around 6 month ago i send my bike for overhaul, things i have done, new piston, piston ring and the whole conrode.block just polish . if not ..... the whole conrode quite expensive, total spend was $550. i don't know is cheap not? but i trust the mech. i done this overhaul at kaki bukit bikeworkz. but you can always check with the rest first before you make the decision. =) and before i send to overhaul, my bike also cannot start. the trang trang trang sound can be cause by alot of things, maybe piston ring and when my valve break few months back my bike also got the sound under the tank.

just my 20cent tots.

If my memory didnt fail me. Original piston costs only 60~80. It varies from package too... Like if you were to buy a block comes with piston even cheaper :)

I do know that conrod is expensive. But actual cost: I never replaced before

Block is Y1 around 100~200 plus. Sometimes really hard to tell.

Cylinder head 100 plus.

bro imben.. so how was it after the overhaul? i think the price is ok when u come to think of it. with the full service and expensive parts. eh but when u polish the block, the piston size managed to find one that fits ah? care to provide me with the exact location of this bikeworkz workshop and the mechanic name? bros...what about planet at ubi? i heard alot about it... is it really good?

after the overhaul was terrible. hahas, cause need to run in. some say 2 stroke don't have to run in but i think is better in the sense that everything is new and should somehow let it run smooth first before you start dragging. polish block only need to polish the surface cause by those scratch, the piston size should be ok. bikeworkz is located at no.157, kaki bukit ave 1, shun-li industrial park, is right beside the kakibukit prison school. actually every mechanic is good, is only the bonding we have to them and the trust. for me i rather stay to one mechanic that i trust then run around to other shops that charge cheaper and do things not nice. where do you stay?

It is not recommended to sleeve down the block. The heat resistant will be reduced. If budget does not allow, sleeve down lor.
