dante if u patch up ur side fairing hole, ur air intake and cooling will be slightly affected. i did it on my previous paintwork.. anyway if im nt wrong jb would charge ard 50rm to patch the hole. can ask any of ur frens to help bring ur fairing there. :)

2wks ago i went to auto machinery they have ori endcan and silencer.. price i forgot.. need to call them up..

premix????anyone wanna enlighten me....also where can i get the maxima castra 2t.....and why are u feeding 4t to your TZM? also what is endcan...

 

I wanna highlight my problem to you guys, hope any TZM bikers out there know of my problem.... do help knowledgaeble bikers.

 

My bike is a TZM, recently my piston seize again. 1 month ago my piston also seize but luckily got warranty. The second time my piston seize i tow the bike to bikeshop at Kranji, they changed my block and piston cause my block crack and piston cannot use alredi. Anyway now my bike damn **** up. The person set the carburator at 210, he told me it is standard. Is it really?

Anyway now my bike also when i riding it doesnt feel good, it feels somewhat very slow and it takes quite some time for the valve to open. Any idea why?

I dunno what spoil, so it would be of great help if anyone can help me with my predicament. Thanks, any queries about the problems pls pose questions and i wil answer pronto... THanks

Premix is mixin the required amount of 2t into your petrol to lubricate the piston/block..Its quite troublesome not usin a 2t tank as a stock bike but the result is marvellous..The 4t is used as EO for the engine..:rolleyes:

 

Did you do a proper runnin in after your piston and block was changed? Or did you just whack like no one's business? :confused:

well, i did not really whack, okay2. Thanks for some answer, can u answer some of my other questions which i had posed?
What other questions? I dunno whats he stock size carb if thats what you're askin..And a possibily that there might be some prob with your valve..Get it checked by a trustworthy mech..:rolleyes:

maxima castor 927 is a premix 2t... Only for premix.. bro best is to run in ur bike properly after changing piston.. let it sits nicely on block... dont whack ... Use premium 2t please.. tat's my opinion.. Ur carb setting must be swee2 to feel the shiok.. 210 might be too big , and dont forget ask ur mech to check ur valve and set it nicely... seems tat u try to whack till the valve open , keep in mind bro tat u just change ur piston... don ever do such things.. bad for ur TZM health.. Just my thoughts.. Dont let ur pocket blow hole again. :)

since ur using new block and piston pls run it in properly...at least 1000km. about ur valve get a good mech to check... ur mech might have adjusted ur valves, how much to open... it's good if he didnt set ur valve open to da max cos ur still running in. after ur running in period den adjust ur valves setting again. if it's not ur mech adjusting da valves den u might have a faulty valve motor.

 

if ur using standard carburettor den ur 210 main jet is definitely too big. dats y ur bike is somewhat slow. setting plays a very important part in a bike. for now i think u shouldnt go back to ur mech... cos 210 is definitely not da standard jetting for tzm. i suggest goin to a more reputable 2 stroke mech.

btw u using premix is it?

wats ur ratio of 2t:fuel may i ask?

yo bro, what CoRnEr7 said is true... new piston new block u cant drag ur gear.... remember it must be a smooth change or gears... dont drag the gears to high rpm.... this will stress ur new piston.... the idea is to let the mechanism and its parts get used to the situation first... ride slowly man... but not too slow.... once u reach that 500km change ur 4t... then again upon reaching 1000km mark... be patient!!! TZM is a very pampered bike... u nd to love them then it will do wonders for u.... try not premix... its not a good choice afterall...

thanks for the insight guys....been of great help....but nowadays i damn sway arh.....i just got fined fer parking under the block then on the same day got fined by TP for parking on the sidewalk...100 and 70 bucks.....where am i gonna find the cash.....hahahas...damn sway arh

hi guys, im riding a tzm too, having lots of problem starting my bike in the morning =( i open choke also cant start. This few days have to push bike to nearest slop then do a kick to gear 1 then can start. imma new rider advise me. thnks

did u turn on ur fuel knob? for me, last time i did a full service, after that bike cant start because everytime i will off the fuel knob when i get off my bike it causes me trying to kickstart for 20 mins-.-, but i started not to turn it off and 1 start will do.. hmm
