tzm if battery is weak, the valve will go haywire is it?

macam sukati mak bapak dia je nak bukak ke tanak.

 

its at around rpm 8k, during corner,

when i drop gear and throttle like nothing happen like engine switched off

then suddenly like power kick in out of the blue kreeeeeeeeeee.

 

it especially happend during downslope at bmw corner.

everytime reach bmw, engine like no respon then when want to turn left suddenly kick in.. scary sia

 

yes it will not open properly. but before you just change battery. can u rmb when was the last time u changed your battery. cause if everything is fine with the bike, the battery will work a long way before it spoils due to natural wear and tear. also be careful running a bike with an improper voltage can damage ur servo controller which will result in ur servo being haywire too. for more inform contact me at 82334350. i can do a quick check for u. if i can fix it for cheap cheap, i will then u just pay me a small amount ah. hehe

i did that with my tzr which uses ypvs as well. saves a whole lot of petrol. i open the valve only when i want to.

its a fairly simple thing but u have to know how to control the valve manually. just remove tank and airbox. then disconnect the 2 cables the join at the servo motor. NOT the poweervalve one. connected to the servo motor one. the release the cable. pull on cable to open and the other to close. but before doing anything u must make a marking on the power valve to know the open and close position.

Cannot make it a knob or a switch to manually open ah lol. Then again I have lots of things to check and do before I even touch mods beyond stock.

u can ah but it can be quite troublesome. i just left it open. easiest. once u know how to use it u wont even look at the cable, u will be able to feel it ready.

i see i see. no prob. ask me all u want. long live 2 strokes and yamaha. haha.

yeap try charging the battery. also if possible try to see the idling voltage and voltage at 5000 rpm. if idling voltage 12v perfect, +- 1 still ok. and 5000rpm ur voltage less than max 14 perfect +- 1 still ok. but if way off mean ur rectifier and regulator is gone. change it asap as it will spoil ur whole bike electrics especially ur servo

anyone changed their carb to keihin 33mm one before? how much was the cost, place you bought the carb and your fuel consumption. was thinking of converting my tzm to track bike.

Hi bros, was thinking of doing mods, usually what should I look for when doing them? Was thinking of porting, maybe get a slightly bigger carb, rewiring and grounding, racing CDI, exhaust I'm not sure, my original in bad shape so I was thinking of keeping it as spare while using an aftermarket one. Anyone tried the Faito stuff? Is it any good? The ignition coil, the bearings and all.

 

Gonna go Thailand soon so if can, get some stuff on the cheap-er than Msia. Opinions would be appreciated supportive and against cause I'm really just experimenting.

Hello TZM Riders.

 

I Just traded in my 125Z(Yellow-Stripes) to TZM last tuesday. Just serviced the TZM at a kampong and now the Magnetic Pulsar got problems. Panas aje mati, gerak sikit je pastu mati. -.-

 

A lot of things need to be refurbished. BTW Guys, how much for the Magnetic Pulsar?

if for track bike, a 33mm carb fuel consumption won't be a problem.

i dunno.. i'm not using the carb. the bike is fully stock i think.

just got it last month and only went to track once on it.

for me as long as petrol can last one or two track session ok alredy.. hehe

forks.. scared the front big then the rear too small..

my ideal rear is using tzr125rr brembo wheels, but hard to get and quite expensive.. i think simliar pricing or more expensive than hrc gp125 wheels
