I've spent 2k+ on repairs alone after 2 accidents, mind you they were done in SG. Prolly not gonna sell, no more 2 strokes around and not really interested in 2A...unless I can get an S4 to look like a vintage cafe racer with full race fairings.

 

If valve can break, you got service the valve before? Unlikely for the 1 piece one to break, the original 2 piece one yes.

 

 

the most important thing is ur 2t...coz with lowya 2t...ur will stress ur PV to turn..try use tcw3 gred 2t

 

1 more thing there a trick if u dun want ur pv leaking or break...hehehehe

Oil jet stock is 180 change to 210 ~ 220, 2T outlet open bigger and when servicing carb make sure the pin is not set too high up coz then riding below 80km/h will be a pain the arse due to overkill high rev setting. Pay attention to the suspensions too. Y1 main block/blockhead are sweeter than Y2 due to the composition of the material but sometimes it's a mix & match of Y1 & Y2.

any bros here got any tips on maintaining and extending the lifespan of TZM's YPVS powervalve? Besides, not whacking the bike so often... mine has spoilt/jam/broke into 2 pieces 3 times in a year, its really a big headache. thx in advance..

isit? mine really break into 2 peices nicely sia. haha.. yea sometimes i cold start straight away whack cos no time to warm up rushing to camp haha.. anyway wad dey mean by dun sudden close throttle when speeding? like hw does this work and do any damage to the valve? and wad's the right way to close throttle haha... some1 pls enlighten me.. haha thanks

im not sure from which country, many will say no more japan made, what i know is the block is of excellent quality, exhaust and fuel intake ports are properly machined smooth edges.. and i bought from yamaha agent at rowell, so i believe it to be original. i've compared to other block taiwan thailand locals and originals, not the same finishing touch.
