It depends on the type and brand. The common class 2b bikes are quite cheap, brand new will be around 10K.

Basically, it depends on what kind of bike you want and the purpose of it. You want transportation, just get a scooter or anything. If you want a speed machine capable of injecting adrenaline into your veins, you better be prepared to spend on it

i think taking bus and mrt is cheaper, but then if u have to travel many times a day, the bike can be cheaper leh.

just get a scooter if u want cheap.

affordable - subjective.

some think 10k for a 2b is exp. but some dont mind spending 13-15k on a 2b

 

insurance - 3rd party is the cheapest

see what u want at the end of the day

 

since u are asking this question that means you are new to bike,

normal maintenance will be engine oil around 2 to 3k km.
