There's good n bad thing abt that shop. I always service my bike there bringing my own oil filter till the last visit i run out of oil filter and told the mech to replace the oil filter. I'm standing beside my bike n realised tat they did nt replace the orignal oil filter, i told him n he insist tat is orignal oil filter. Dam

Moreover their engine oil is sightly $XX than others

anyway how much do they charge for carberator cleaning & tuning... 400cc bike???

heard that they are soooo good that they can tune 100km/h at 4500rpm???

which was previouly at 5000rpm.

they use machine or their ears to tune???

but then again... among them whos the best at tuning?

know its quite long ago but just wish to point out a personal experience.

STP oil treatment is not recommended for bikes which has wet clutches.

Can cause a whole lot of clutch slippage. They are meant more for cars.

But if you like, you may try them out... Your experience may differ from mine.. :cheeky:

Is varadero 125 a wet clutch bike?

I not very sure of the spec of my bike haha

Should be. From the way I look at your engine block. Wet clutch means the clutch plates are immersed in engine oil. Dry clutch are usually used on sports/race machines for better clutch response/grip.

You can't "tune" a bike to run at 4500rpm at 100km/h instead of 5000rpm. You can change the sprockets to alter the final drive ratio which will change the revs required for different speeds but this isn't complicated and isn't "tuning", its just replace front sprocket with a new one with 1 more tooth. Cost $25 or so and 5 minutes labour and you have acheived the result of lower revs at 100km/h.

I'm one of them.. the skills i can say it sucks.. but tuning wise i think quite ok lo.. their trouble shooting skills.. sux...

remember got once my CBR short circuit.. was towe to there and waited half a day spend a bomb of cash there.. in the end he can only make my bike start for once.. after he start my bike and push it out if his shop.. my bike died again.. he dosent even know wats happening.. the only idea he know is wiring shorted..

later on he figure out its the on off light's switch tats shorted and advise me to spend another 450 to rewire the whole bike.. i said no thx and ask him to start my bike for me (another 1hr plus spend, from this u can see he dosent know the problems but just aga aga) and i rode off to find my reg mech..

upon reaching my mech, he tested abit and told me its the on'off switch and dun need to rewire.. after changing it... so far so gd.. no problems at all..

As i used to go there to ask about changing my fork(but i change somewhere else because of the bad experience with them), he ask me how is my fork. When he see my fork ok liao, he give me the F***** Up attitude. Kaoz. than quote me the price of dent repair at super high loh. 200 for dent repair where my reg mech quote me only 125
