Bro no point goin to this shop for any service la.. I got my bike from them and I'm extremely unhappy about their service... Bunch of Bustuds working there...

You come buy something from me, before I get ur $$ I say the thing u gonna buy is super duper good, no flaws.. You buy.. After u buy u discover I was lying,, the thing is super duper Fxxx up with many many flaws... When u come back to me I act like donno u and leave u alone.. After u come approach me I tell you I donno anything about the product how u feel...

Maybe TS or some others just suai suai tu tiao their bad day ba.... just buy them drink then chat chat make frd, they happy give u lar gd luck

no offence bro, but either u are some acquaintance of theirs, or they really gave u "great" prices and are really happy with you(not the other way round).

 

One incident has haunted me for 2 yrs alr.

 

My classmate had just passed his 2B, so upon my recommendation, we went to AV to look at a few bikes.

Saw this SP at Old South*rn and another one at Al**rt.

Aesthetically, the one at Al**rt won hands down.

But nonetheless i din want my fren to get chopped for some cheap paintwork.

so, I talked to Ah S*ng. He told me not just the paintwork would be given, the whole package would also be inclusive of FULL SERVICING

Anyone here who's ridden 2 stroke would know tht FULL SERVICING would consist of taking out the top block, cleaning the carbon on the block and piston head, flushing coolant, and decently set it back to owner's preferred settings. I was still very insistent tht my fren visit the shops in Ubi and Defu before deciding. The bike's engine just din sound convincing enough. But alas, the very nxt day, he went down and paid a deposit with his dad and booked the bike. Well, it was his money so i couldnt really force him to go elsewhere, can I?

As his fren, the least i could do was to accompany him there to collect.

 

It was the eve of New Year's Eve. Everyone was closing early. We wanted to collect one day before but they insisted tht they wanted to touch up everything(like i believed) before they let us leave. we knew they were gg to close @ 3pm tt dae. so we left sch early and reached @ 11.30am. upon reaching, ah s*ng told us tt e bike farings were being put on and we had to wait for awhile. so i casually asked him abt THE FULL SVCING, he told me ,very fast one 15-20mins can alr. i told him how can u take apart and assemble bk the engine in 15-20mins? he replied "u knw one anot? scving only chg engine oil, tk out block piston ring will loose". he even dared me to race with hiM! lol.

 

not to mention the bike price, a whopping 4.3k OTR for an SP w 3yrs COE left. It's not exactly worth it is it? I told my mechanic to inspect the bike's engine and horrors of horrors, the bike piston has seized. few more hundreds to fix up the bike. my fren has since sold the bike(thank god.) and is riding an RVF now. and yes, its frm the same shop..

i see bro. But i have been their customer since i take my first class 2 bike from them. Just luck maybe bro, if not happy with the bike just hold first and decide before buying that wat i always thought ^_^. Ride safely ya ...

Why bother talk to ah seng?? ur negotiating to the wrong person. approach andrew and he will deal wif the matter be it ur acquaintance or not. if the bike piston had seized, u ought to tow back to the bike shop and they will settle it as they provide 1 mth warranty. anyway what they meant by full servicing is engine oil, coolant, brake pads, brake fluid etc.. not major servicing which u mentioned was top overhaul. anyway why at the first place did ur fren d/p the bike knowing it would cost 4.3k OTR? i still feel its the cheapest since u and ur fren had scout for prices at bt merah. furthermore, ur fren bought the rvf from the same shop. knowing he had a bad ordeal there, why did he still insist on upgrading his bike there?

 

Ain't siding them but ur fren himself didn't fully utilise the after sale service rendered by them. so from my point of view, it ain't a detrimental incident after all.

 

p.s:TS, to my percipience, change of ownership needs to reloan the bike. that applys to almost all bike shop. so wad people usually do, coi the bike and add sub rider ur fren's name.

I have to admit..that the bikeshops at that area are quite "famous"..

i always feel that want to buy bikes go to those shops which focus mainly on sale of bike(e.g. heng motors, ASPhoon). Want to service bike go to those shops which focus mainly on servicing/repairs(e.g. Planet motors, unique Motorsports). But best is to buy from private seller.. just my opinion.

i bought bike from them too but is 1st hand i dun seem any problem if we pay the installment on time..2nd hand bike from them is not bad but have to choose properly..go to any bike shop to check full service ant wrong jotted it down go back look for andrew saying tis thing spoil nv say u go another shop say so just say u experience it spoil they sure change..be smart..what i feel is not bad if u got to know them well..

I have to agree with FunkyChicken. Full servicing means changing engine oil, oil & air filter and spark plugs. Opening the top block is almost similar to an overhaul. Furthermore, you need new gaskets.
