its their everchanging price and everchanging quality which makes ppl want to try their luck there i guess. lol

but if really their honda original is really original as well as their did x ring is then i wont mind buy from them. then ask other shop to install for me.

Hi all,

 

Does anybody knows where to install a mudguard for the front hugger. The reason is because the front wheel is always churning up sands and small pebbles when in motion and these foreign particles will get stuck onto the radiator fins. Sometimes, I don't know why HONDA doesn't provide a rubber mudguard on the front hugger as standard, or at least make the front hugger longer. Thanks for a reply.

Winners: Went to LAB few weeks back to enquire if there's such product too. Replies from them is that you'll have to purchase those Harley Davidson type of flap, drill a hole on your current mudguard, and use a screw to secure the flap ontoyour mudguard. Dont really fancy this solution. Saw from my mechanic that he has an extended front mudguard too, and there's a 'Honda' wording on the extension. Heard it's an original Honda accessory. No idea about the price though.

Vinz: Can you check with your mechanic where to buy and install this extension, or is he doing it himself for a charge?. My intention is to protect the radiator and not to have it leaking after a few months. Also, even the oil filter gets chipped by the flying stones and pebbles. Thanks.

change water pump plus fill up with coolant with reserve reservoir at planet motor for $135

bought original japan radiator cap at chong aik desker road for $18.

if made in thailand radiator cap,the guy quoted $10.
