guys, i will be going to Bali tmr... and i have no idea how much do i need to bring. budget SGD500.00Dollar.

 

what can i do with $500?

 

and is the shopping there cheap?

 

will be staying in a hotel near Kuta...

 

hows the nite life? the charges?

 

can i rent bike?

$500 For how many days? IF 1 week and a little booze.. enough. Change your money there, the rates are better.

 

The surf stuffs there are a bit cheaper than singapore. but their selections.. WOW.. almost all the shops eg. quiksilver are 3 storey.

 

To go on tours, approach a few tour counters to get a quotation on prices. After which you can call my friend, Jimmy @ 081 338 527 425 to get his quotation. Tell him, "Three" who was there is february with his MALE buddy recommend. I can assure you, his price is cheaper than others because you deal directly with him and not thru agent. Call him when u arrive to reserve. IF he cannot make it, DO NOT TAKE HIS FRIEND as a substitute.

 

Night life?? Legian area(walking distance from KUTA beach) is the place. There's a memorial to remember those who died in the Bali bombing. Across the road is an empty grass patch. thats of the former club which was bombed. IF you are taking a cab to go anywhere, get the light blue one(forgot co. name) the others are more expensive. Walk along poppies 1(small road between MC Donalds and Dunkin Donuts, there are a few budget hotels which are good. Poppies 2 are full of australians.

 

If anyone recommend you to go Jimbaran beach for the seafood, RUN far far!! Their knifes are sharper than the mototiams here.

 

Bikes? You don't have to look for one, everybody will approach you wanting to rent out their bikes. hehehe

 

Lastly, Bali is safe. But if you are robbed or molested make sure you got the correct person before you accuse him. The locals usually whack the fella so badly that some died.

as above reply about renting bikes - expect to pay no more than 66K /day and start renting in the late after.. cos balance bike cannot rent out so can get cheaper.

 

Shopping - dont buy t-shirts/souvenirs at KUTA repeat DONT BUY AT KUTA, if you're taking a tour with a driver.. ask him to bring you to SUKAWATI MARKET .. 1 t/shirt 12K-18K .. must bargain like siao

Which Hotel in Tanjong Bernoa ?

 

Conrad Bali is also at Tanjong Bernoa, and they have free hourly shuttle service to DFS (which is half way to Kuta). From DFS, there is a free shuttle service to Kuta.

thx for the info bro, hotel back than was fully booked so we have to stay at pendawa hotel, quite a decent hotel la... went there only for 4days 3nites... its a family trip, sat nite when to the nite clubs. and the local actually only go for Australian huh...

 

JIMBARAN seafood, yea... so expensive xia... in total spent 200++

Lobster 2kg

Fish 1.5kg

Mussel 500kg

Cuttlefish 1kg

 

Sun nite when to a massage parlour, was introduce by my brother and received half a price as his a crew in SIA. The massage was awesome. 2 ppl massage ur body at a same time... NICE!

before i kena chop there ,

 

i wish to know the do and don't when i'm there .

 

my budjet is $2k for a weeks holidays there .

 

wanna eat seafood , some shopping but mostly to enjoy there eg , water sports ? etc

i believe it should depend on the resort u staying at..and ur package..

does ur package offer any free usage of water sports..

if nt how much..

den u have to decide..

the food and clothes are cheap.

water sports are darn ex..

 

enjoy ur honeymoon.

 

if possible, head to gunung batur...
